Hi, Cheeser. Thanks for the message, I often declined deletion proposals similar to yours when no advance notice had been given to the editor reminding them about their subpage. (once in a while, it could be a good-faith editor forgetting about their subpage – just giving them the benefit of doubt, so to speak ;)) I got the page in question automatically watchlisted after editing it, thus I was going to monitor the situation and see it any further edits would be made there after that user received your message. Granted, I didn't properly check the timestamp to realize the page had stayed unedited for several months, and User:QueenAdelaide appears rather too inactive to respond to any notification. That was certainly an oversight on my part; lucky me user Barneca helped fix the matter with his delete button. | |||
About CSD G4, CSD is one of the few wiki policies that i suppose i can carry in my head; my practice/interpretation of it isn't perfect, but please rest assured that I do keep myself up-to-date with these deletion polices when patrolling CSD area. I just hope I didn't infuriate you too much by removing the tag without proper explanation on your talk; i know it could be really annoying when one sees an admin who seems incompetent declining their speedy deletion proposal. Again, you were correct on the nose, my apologies. Please keep up your work, it is very much appreciated. Happy editing, --] (]) 13:46, 18 April 2008 (UTC) |
