Moldovans are an ethnic group cognate to Romanians, which live mainly in the Republic of Moldova, where it comprises 76.1% of population according to 2004 census.
According to some, Moldovans are same as Romanians, the Moldovan ethnic group is none other but the Romanian ethnic group of the Republic of Moldova.
