Digg:
Site dedicated to posting link to tech related sites and related sites of that nature.
In the Format that the Users are the administration controlling what goes onto the front page, so they think anyway.

Why?: TO give Slashdot the Middle Finger to their Authority and content control.

Whats it similar to?: Fark.com, But fark justs posts links of all kinds and isn't as much fully tech related as this is.

Digging Refers to Giving a thumbs up to a user submitted article, which pushes up the chain thus sooner or later leading to the front page.

Where can I find this unholy page to digg user articles: In the digg for stories

Who owns it?: A corporation Hosting a web server for Kevin rose in the pits of hell. And Users Are told they all are equally special on the site when in reality they are not and fighting for fame and popularity.
