John Aloisi (born February 5th, 1976) is an Australian football striker, who currently plays for Deportivo Alavés in the Spanish Primera división.
He was the top scorer for the Australian football team at the 2005 Confederations Cup in Germany scoring 4 goals, 2 against Germany and 2 against Argentina - earning him the bronze shoe. He also represented Australia at the 2004 Olympics.
He signed a 2 year deal with Alaves in the summer of 2005, after a move to Panathinaikos collapsed. He moved on a free transfer from Osasuna where he played from 2001-2005. Previous clubs include Coventry City (Jan 1999-2001), Portsmouth F.C. (97-99), Cremonese (Nov 95-97), Royal Antwerp (93-95), Standard Liege (Dec 92-93) and Adelaide City.
