In Welsh mythology, Morda was a blind old man whom the witch Ceridwen hired to tend to the fire underneath her cauldron.

Morda is a vilage on the outskirts of the town of Oswestry, Shropshire, England, located on the border of England and Wales.

Inhabitants of Morda are officialy known as Mordonians.
