The girls' volleyball and boys' baseball teams have also made two appearances in the state finals, earning second place honors each time. There have been several standout players from LOBS. Brandon Watterworth (class of '04) was named Division MVP for MACS division II boys' basketball and soccer in his senior year, as well as being honored with a position on the MACS All-Conference First Team in baseball. Bobbi Frank, class of 2007, was named the Division MVP for girl's basketball, volleyball & soccer during the 2005/2006 and 2006/2007 seasons. Lake Orion Baptist School (LOBS) is a private independent Fundamental Baptist school, serving grades K-12. Founded in 2002, LOBS is a ministry of First Baptist Church of Lake Orion, Michigan, although students are accepted from any church strictly regarded as being of "like faith and practice".
