Dhanshiri is name of a river in Bnagladesh;very popular river of Bangladesh.It passed away through Rajapur thana up to 12 k.m and finally fallen into Janghalia river.According to the local peoples narrate 'Dhanshiri' derived from "Dhanosree".Later this river became popular by name 'Dhanshiri' as poet Jibanandha Das had written poem and there named it 'Dhanshiri'.Since then peoples know the river as Jibanandha Das's Dhanshiri.
