Resorte is a musical group consisting of Mexico in 1995. Its gender is the Nu metal, showing low and some powerful lyrics delivered with force and anger.

Biography

It was in 1995 when Tavo, Juan Chávez and Carlos Sánchez founded the group. The birth of this band occurred in parallel to the emergence of a musical style that finally called Nu metal, when groups representing such as Rage Against the Machine and KoRn had already been proposing since EE. UU. the new style.

In that same year to compose and perform, to record a video independent Resorte gets what for its members was the first great achievement. The video is the song América, which would become the anthem of the group. This video reached the hands of MTV, so that began airing on television thereby widely distributed which enabled the group to make themselves known.

After hard work and given many concerts in June 1997, Resorte publishes República de Ciegos with Discos Manicomio, thus seeing the light on the first working group hands of this record. These were moments of gestation for the musical flow that came in the spring. There had been an explosion in Mexico music; simultaneously published a first disc their compatriots Molotov (just one month later).

Resorte not end to participate in festivals and concerts multitudinous of thousands of people. Until that in September 1999, the group put up for sale a second album entitled XL. The publication of this disc represents a new push for band, and then when it becomes a real Resorte's fame, sounding radio and television, reaching into the Top 10 MTV. At this stage curtain gangs as international and known as Limp Bizkit and Papa Roach.

This year, Resorte took a short break to get to edit meanwhile in 2001 a EP of rarities called Versión 3.0. Carlos "Charal" Sánchez (drummer and co-founder), had already left the group to be with his family. The record Manicomio breake, and Resorte is forced to sign a new contract, although the group publishes with Warner Bros. Records its third and latest record so far. Rebota (f=k x) came in 2002, and has added a new vocalist, member of rap group Control Machete, "Pato" Elizalde. This work has meant the peak of musical quality to Resorte, on a production and sound excellent, having been recorded the album in two major American studies.

Respect at the national level is evident to the banda, who heads all the posters in which it participates. However, the duck returns to its previous group (Control Machete), and sales results are not expected. In May 2006 he appeared in the Festival Vive Latino, and in November of that year, the Corona Music Fest. In late 2007, Tavo participates as a guest in the Mexican band hip-hop Cartel de Santa in the song "Chinga los Racistas" and was special guest at the third disc of rapcore argentina's band Timmy O' Tool.

Cristian Machado, vocalist of Ill Niño, said "one of my major influences are the 2 Resorte´s vocalists, which are like Mexicans Rage Against the Machine"".
