Plase read my suggestions on the lake template and also my suggestion of posting a template for classification of lakes.I am basing the clasifcation on the artcile I have co-authored on Lake Management in India for ILEC--] (]) 10:58, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

:: and . {{tl|coordinate}} is not in use on Misplaced Pages-EN. Please use {{tl|coord}}. Thank you. ] (User:Pigsonthewing); ]; ] 08:18, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

:::I don't think you can {{tl|coord}} for this. -- User:Docu

::::If you refer to the use of ''coordinate'' with no values; no, you can't - but you will have read about {{tl|coord missing}} on ] (having posted immediately below that section). ''coordinate'''s documentation is clearly labelled "Currently not implemented"; I believe it was so labelled by you. ] (User:Pigsonthewing); ]; ] 12:41, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

:::I'm glad that we agree that {{tl|coord}} is not suitable for this. Also we learned that {{tl|coordinate}} does this. So what's your problem ? How is this related to Rich Farmbrough note? -- User:Docu

I have nominated {{tl|Coordinate}} for deletion. ] (User:Pigsonthewing); ]; ] 19:21, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

== Version 0.7 reviewing ==

Hi, I see that you've signed up for the ]. We need your help right now, because we had around 70 nominations last week! As you probably know, Version 0.7 is coming out soon, mainly based on the . This relieves us of the burden of manually assessing 30,000 articles, but we need the manual system to catch the articles that might "fall through the cracks" - such as a couple of missing provinces needed to complete a set. If you're no longer interested in reviewing, please can you remove your name from the list of reviewers?

You should consult the ] and the ], but I would suggest that most manual nominations of B-Class articles or higher are expected to pass, unless they are fairly obscure. You can get a good sense of the importance by looking at the article in the bot's list (check the talk page to find which projects have tagged it); an importance score (excluding quality) of <700 indicates that the article is probably too obscure, unless it is needed to complete a useful set (e.g., all the counties of England). I take the view that if someone who is knowledgeable on the topic spends the time to nominate the article, it is likely to be OK, but just occasionally people try to argue for an obscure or poor-quality article.

So, are you able to help? Many thanks, ] (]) 05:03, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

== Signature - my question still stands ==

I notice that you've archived my question.

:You wrote "If you don't explain why it's annoying to you, this doesn't help much. Adding an explanation mark to every other sentence may appear annoying to me and others, but I wouldn't bother commenting on your talk page about this.
Anyways, the timestamp is not required. If comments are added in sequence as I do this, in most cases, there isn't much use in adding one. -- User:Docu"

I have explained why - it's annoying to others as they can't just easily click on the link to discuss things with you, and I've already explained that it's hard to tell at what time you responded. My question stands: why is it so difficult to use <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki> to sign posts? What is your reasoning? - ] (]) 05:19, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

:Did you have a look at the answers given to the others? BTW which talk thread brought you here? -- User:Docu

::Just so you know – and I believe it was mentioned in some of the responses you archived – there is a button immediately above the edit window that will automatically insert the four tildes for a signature. Even if your current keyboard configuration doesn't easily support typing the tildes, it's just a click away. If you click an 'edit' link, you want the button with a fragment of cursive writing on it. It's the tenth button from the left, between the nowiki shortcut button (a crossed-out W) and the horizontal rule button.
::Using a wikilinked signature saves other editors time – even if, in most cases, it's just a little bit – and is something that doesn't seem like it should cost you anything. (If you would like to change your signature settings, you can go to ]; signatures are under the 'User profile' tab.) A number of people have asked you to follow the standard signing conventions on Misplaced Pages, and we've all offered reasons why it's both helpful and polite to do so. Is there a reason why you don't want to do this? ](]) 23:11, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
