Some say that the recent escalatio in tensions between the Us and Ussr is reaching a point that is nothing less than a scale of cold war between the two adversaries. The recent conflict in the Georgia and Ossettia were symptomatic of such also. The rivarly and hostilitise between the two olympic squads did nothing to settle this conflict, which is at the hottest time since the Nixon administration, where detente began.
