Raquel Roxanne Diaz better known by her stage name Rocsi, is an American television personality.
Biography
Early life and career
Diaz was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras but moved with her family to New Orleans, Louisiana when she was two years old. She graduated from West Jefferson High School in New Orleans. Next she attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana, where she left to pursue a career in broadcasting. She was later a DJ on Chicago radio station Power92 WPWX-FM during midday hours 10am – 2pm.
Television
After BET personalities Big Tigger and Julissa were replaced on July 10, 2006, Rocsi won the role of co-host of BET’s 106 & Park along with Terrence J. The show can be seen in over 85 million homes in the U.S, United Kingdom, Canada, Africa, Caribbean, and Japan. For the debut in Japan, she and co-host Terrence J taped footage there, and appeared on MTV Video Music Awards Japan.
Film
Rocsi has been added to the cast of Vapors along with actors such as Clifton Powell, Keke Palmer and Evan Ross.
