A question concerning your deletion of Sir Neville Bowles Chaimberlain

Excuse me, i am a direct bloodline of him and i would like to know why you took off my edit of his life. What is on now is not complete, he had a family kept in secrecy. If you wish to deny this, i have a biography written by my great uncle. If you would be so kind is to respect my family and revert the deletion of my edit, it took a long time to get that information from my father. The article that edits that you are referencing is unsourced. Unfortunately, Misplaced Pages does not consider your dad to be a reliable source. Therefore, unless you can come up with another source with which to substantiate your claims, my reversion will stay. Thanks! DARTH PANDA 03:29, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

I have written proof... Dates.. eye witness's's..'s.... Its not like very many people read that one article.... i need it to be there so my family, and me have an easyer way to read about him.. without having to read a huge book... Please kind..sir... it would be quite helpful... And btw.. i have written to websites containing info about him, like the i think it was national or american snooker association. A question, if you are not as empethetic as i assumed.... to my poor...poor soul (note the sadness) then if i could get a reliable source of the information-like the snooker association for example, you would remove it?

Ah, but the internet is srs bsns. If you have information on websites, feel free to cite the sources. However, per WP:NOTWEBHOST, Misplaced Pages isn't some place to host information about your great uncle. Furthermore, I don't see how he passes WP:BIO. Please take a look at all of my previously mentioned Misplaced Pages policy pages. If your courses satisfy WP:RS and your uncle passes WP:BIO, the page can stay. Thanks! HG-based reversion of Ringfencing

Ringfencing had a {{dicdef}} header among other issues. In response, I (as 68.167.252.117 (talk)) introduced a Misplaced Pages:Soft redirect, which seems an appropriate response. Mannheim Steamroller

No problem. I understand how those things go. BTW, while I have your ear, I could use some advice. On Miller Beach, there is an IP user who continually makes changes to the article to negate the fact that the community in question is a neighborhood of Gary, Indiana, choosing instead to reflect on its past as an established town, and slanting the article with a bias against Gary; I've cautioned the user a number of times, yet he persists in his NPOV changes. I reported him as a vandal once before, but was admonished and told that it was a content-based dispute. Is there any sort of recourse I have outside of continually reverting his NPOV changes? --Mhking (talk) 21:35, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

I would report him for WP:3RR and WP:EDITWAR. I don't think a report on WP:AIV would suffice. Try WP:AN3 for now. Hopefully, that should solve your problem! It wouldn't hurt to mention that the edits that the IP is making are unsourced. DARTH PANDA 21:54, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

I'm not going to try to push the policy through without you; there would simply be too much fight from the opposers, and I'm not well versed enough with the topic. I archived and failed the proposal. First, you should also stop sticking {{prod}} templates wherever you can, as this is detrimental to the expansion of Misplaced Pages. Second, I'm not the best person to ask if you want to gain adminship, but I certainly can look after you and guide you towards adminship. I noticed that SmartGuy6000 was blocked indefinitely (with good reason). His account lasted only 22 minutes from first edit to indefinite block. Do you suppose that is some kind of new record? •Life of Riley (talk) 02:43, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Oh, hardly. I'm sure that someone before him has spammed his or her way to a block within the first five minutes of editing (if the Hugglers and the admins are on their respective games). Nevertheless, it's quite amusing. I seem to have grown into having a sick pleasure watching vandals struggle and die here... DARTH PANDA 02:46, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

I understand 100% what he says and I believe 100% that it is hypocritical and unethical. Saying that he can't oppose because he is listed is ridiculous and denies that he is a Wikipedian.
