John Sutton (born 5 November 1984 in Sydney, Australia) is a professional rugby league footballer for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the National Rugby League competition. His position of choice is at five eighth, though he also plays at lock or centre.
His junior football was played at Kensington and with the Coogee Wombats. Sutton made his first grade debut in Round 17 of the 2004 season for the South Sydney Rabbitohs against the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium. Sutton was selected for the Prime Minister's XIII in 2005.
Sutton is a member of the Australian surf gang the Bra Boys and was also involved in a feature film of the same name.
He is of Australian and Fijian (Rotuman) heritage.
Sutton was named as an automatic inclusion for the Fiji Bati 2008 Rugby League World Cup side to be officially named in October 2008.
He has been named in the Fiji training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.
