The Indus (known as Sindhu in ancient times) is a river in Pakistan after which India is named.
It flows from the Himalayas approximately southwest to the Arabian Sea.
See also Indus Valley Civilisation.
Indus (the Indian) is a southern constellation introduced by Johann Bayer. It is supposed to represent an American Indian.
