James Kottak (born December 26, 1962) is the American-born drummer for the Scorpions. He joined the Scorpions in 1996.

Kottak is a former drummer in the bands Kingdom Come, Warrant, Wild Horses (American), Montrose, and the Michael Schenker Group, and he also plays in his own band Krunk.
