DOOM 3 is a first person shooter computer game being developed by id Software and will be published by Activision. DOOM 3 is scheduled to be released in 2004 ("when it's done"). Set in 2145 in a Union Aerospace Corporation research center on Mars, it is a complete retelling of the original DOOM, with a completely new graphics and game engine. DOOM 3 is currently available for pre-ordering; an official website with a trailer has been launched at http://www.doom3.com.
