Korn is a popular nu metal band from Bakersfield, California. They originally formed as LAPD, which already consisted out of all the members apart from Jonathan Davis. When he joined the band in 1993, they changed their name to Korn, releasing their debut Korn in october 1994. They are often credited with contributing immensely to the start of the nu metal genre.
