Timmy Time is a programme made by Aardman Animations. It will be broadcast on CBeebies in April 2009, and has also been picked up by Disney channels across the world, including in the US. The show is a spin off from the Shaun the Sheep animation, which introduced the Timmy character. The show's first series will run for 26 episodes.
Premise and format
Timmy is Shaun's cousin who lives in the farm next door. In this series, Timmy and his friends including Yabba the duckling, Finlay the fox cub, Mitten the kitten and Paxton the piglet have to learn to share, make friends and own up to mistakes. The show is aimed at pre-school aged children, which the company described as "a natural step for Aardman".
The show is made up of ten minute episodes, which do not feature any dialogue, much like the Shaun the Sheep show.
