Barry Antoine Minter (born January 28, 1970, Mount Pleasant, Texas) is a former National Football League linebacker for the Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns.

Minter played college football for the University of Tulsa. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 1993 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys, who traded him to the Bears as part of a five-player deal just before the start of the 1993 season. (Going to the Cowboys: linebacker John Roper, tight end Kelly Blackwell and defensive back Markus Paul; Going to the Bears: Minter, fellow linebacker Vinson Smith, a 5th-round draft pick in 1994 and a sixth-rounder in 1995). Minter appeared in two games for the Bears in 1993, and then won the job as their starting middle linebacker from 1994 through the 2000 season. In the second game of the 2000 season, he was injured and replaced by Brian Urlacher, who became an All-Pro and never relinquished the position back to Minter.

Minter appeared in one game for Cleveland in 2001 before retiring.
