Personal life and education
Her father was Anwar Azeem, a prominent Marxist journalist and author.
She married Bollywood actor, Pankaj Kapoor. They have a son, Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor. They divorced when Shahid Kapoor was 3 years old.
In 2007, She married for the second time, to the singer Ustad Raza Ali Khan, a classical singer. He is the son of Ustad Munawar Ali Khan and the grandson of the legendary classical vocalist, Bade Ghulam Ali Khan.
Career
Azeem has majored in Indian classical dance - Kathak), and is known in India for her TV shows. She also worked in Hindi movie, Sadak opposite Deepak Tijori.
