view edit I have pressed the "Save page" button, over 45,907 times, making me editor number 320 for number of edits. I now have 20+ barnstars, but like a good monkey, I had to press the little button 2,869 times before I got my first prize.  :( The BLP Barnstar I hereby award you this shiny barnstar for your efforts to alert Wikiprojects about how to locate BLPs for their projects and invite their participation in the discussion that would affect potentially all projects with a mass deletion (50,000 by most estimates) of "unsourced" BLPs. Thanks for the note

Gwen Gale is, as you seem to hint, a bit of a Pinocchio to Collect's Geppetto. I am well aware that Collect knew he could get her to warn me, but I couldn't help but wonder why she seemed to ignore the massive contentiousness that follows Collect around everywhere. A reply to my comment made me wonder if she knew how to read. A quick look at her history showed why Collect can rely on her so easily. That she is an admin boggles the mind.

The note she left on my talk page didn't terribly bother me after a bit of consideration. (See my repeated removal from my talk page of a note left by Mattnad for an example of something that did bother me.) I pointed out to Gwen and Collect that I had not harrassed anyone and told them their threats, warnings, demands, etc. were laughable. The issue is over, Gwen and Collect were on the wrong side of it, and if I see fit, I will specifically name Collect as a contentious editor to my little heart's content without caring a whit if he stamps his foot, demands retraction, and runs off to Gwen for help. (As far as actual articles go, I don't think we've edit warred at all. I wouldn't use that terminology, but you can feel free.)

That said, I have read the RfC this Phoenix of9 character set up regarding Collect and, after a bit of indecisiveness, I concluded that I wouldn't be able contribute much more than what has already been said. (It would be nice if the Collect haters were a little more literate, though.) Your comment here kind of cements my exclusion, per WP:CANVASS. I'm surprised Collect hasn't already showed up to say the same. I also won't contribute anything because the RfC has apparently been closed. I don't plan on helping out with the discussion at ANI, if it happens.

(All this depends on my assumption that you left your message because of the RfC regarding Collect. This may not have been your motivation, given your mention of Ms. Gale. Please let me know.) SluggoOne (talk) 06:30, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
