Phil Prendergast (born 1960) is an Irish Labour Party politician from Clonmel in County Tipperary. She is a member of the 23rd Seanad Éireann, elected in 2007 by the Labour Panel.
She was an unsuccessful candidate in the 2007 general election in the Tipperary South constituency. She was previously a member of Clonmel Borough Council and South Tipperary County Council, where she was elected as originally as a member of the Workers' and Unemployed Action Group (WUAG) which is very strong in the Clonmel and South Riding of Tipperary. She left the WUAG to join the Labour Party and run in the Dáil election against the WUAG member Séamus Healy.
She caused some controversy with in the local Labour Party branch when she tried to nominate her husband to replace her on the Council.
