Pre-market trading is security trading between banks and dealers, without stock exchange control, before the opening of the actual stock market session.

Pre-Market trading is trading certain NASDAQ and Listed securities through Electronic Communications Networks (ECNs) before the regular trading session.

Pre-Market trading is from 8:00am - 9:30am Eastern, Monday through Friday on days when the market is open. Trading through Fidelity, pre-market trading is from 7:00am - 9:15am EST, Monday through Friday.
