Nguyễn Văn Cốc (born 1943) was a North Vietnamese MiG-21PFL fighter ace of the VPAF's 921st Fighter Regiment. Nine kills of United States aircraft have been attributed to him during the Vietnam War. Out of nine claims, seven of these losses have been acknowledged by the United States Air Force so far. However, it was common for US forces to attribute aircraft losses to surface-to-air missiles, as many pilots considered this "less embarrassing".
