pictures, licence and copyright

{{helpme}} How do i upload photos from this site which licence would fit with those photos? I need help im not good at photo licence and copyright stuff.

Hi and Welcome to Misplaced Pages. You will need to get permission from the the people who hold the copyright to those photos. This may or may not be the site that is hosting them. You can write to the site that is hosting the photos and ask who owns the copyright, and if they would be willing to license them freely. BTW in this link it says "reproduction free for editorial use only" so could we use some of those photos here?

Copyright violations

Mystery.sin: I have noticed your recent contributions at Otokar Cobra and Otokar Kaya. Please realize that copying text from websites and pasting it into Misplaced Pages articles constitutes copyright violation, even if you have cited the source. It may be appropriate to use the websites you have cited as sources, but you need to put the information in your own word and insure that phrased in a neutral encyclopedic manner. Deleted page

{{helpme}} aramgar^ or someone else has deleted the page i created called Otokar Kaya and undod my contribution to Otokar Cobra. All im doing is giving info about these vehicles with their source so i dont thing im doing anything wrong cause ive seen many pages in[REDACTED] that took info from external sites and give its reference to it and ps i aint deleting im adding so whats wrong

Copying text from other websites is not allowed, since it constitutes a copyright violation. You may reference facts given in your own words to external websites, but copying text is not permitted. Thanks--Res2216firestar 01:39, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

{{helpme}}Ok so let me get this straight, only facts are allowed no full copies thats understood, but all the things i posted were facts with reference so why delete, anyway i need to get the page i created about Otokar Kaya back so i can modify and make it legit to a more factfull less straight copy version.

Hi there :-) I just asked someone if they could restore that, but unfortunately, it is not possible because of the copyright violation. If Misplaced Pages were to have that page on their servers, they could be sued for copyright infringement. So - can't help with that, sorry.  Chzz  ►  02:28, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Good luck with it. I suggest you make the new page in your user space, like - for example - User :Mystery.sin/testpage. That way, you can ask someone to check it over before it goes live.
