The '''Dnepr River''' is a great river (2200 km length) which flows from ] through ] and then ]. In all three countries it has the same name, albeit pronounced differently, so it can be also called '''Dniepr''', '''Dnipro''' and '''Dnieper'''.

Dnepr finds its source in ] hills (north Russia) and runs south eventually flowing into the ]. 115 km of its length serve as a natural border between Belarus and Ukraine. About last 800 km of ''Dnepr'' represents a chain of consecutive reservoirs.
