Marcia Mitzman Gaven (born February 28, 1959) is an American actress.
Born in New York City, New York, Gaven was the voice for Maude Flanders, Helen Lovejoy, Miss Hoover and others on The Simpsons from 1999 until 2002, when Maggie Roswell returned after a pay dispute.
She played guest roles in TV series like The Bold and the Beautiful, Beverly Hills, 90210, Frasier, Babylon 5, The Drew Carey Show and Ellen. She was in the original Broadway production of the musical Chess, and she was nominated for Broadway's 1993 Tony Award as Best Actress (Featured Role - Musical) for her portrayal of Mrs. Walker in the Broadway production The Who's Tommy.
Since June 1996 she has been married to the film editor Seth Gaven (creative director of movie marketing company A.V. Squad) with whom she has two children.
