|Solomon I (1735-1784) was a Bagrationi king of the westernGeorgian kingdom of Imereti ruling from 1752 to 1784.
Solomon was a son of Aleksandri V, King of Imereti. During his 32-year reign Solomon succeeded in centralizing royal powers, restricting certain feudal authorities, and liberating a large part of Western Georgia from the Ottomans. Solomon was allied with Erekle II, King of Kartli-Kakheti in Eastern Georgia.
