Bargur is a state assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu.
2009 by-election
BJP, DMK, DMDK, and CPI have decided to contest the by-election due to vacant seat here in Cumbum. Third Front parties, ADMK, MDMK and PMK have decided to boycott the by-election, due to alleges from party leaders from the respective parties of elections not being fair.
