Please stop undoing everything I do without a good reason. You can have more than 1 tag you know. Just look at all the tags. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Taciturnsole (talk • contribs) 00:06, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
Plese stop this. You are deleting the tag just because you don't like it. That is no good reason. If you keep this up I will report you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Taciturnsole (talk • contribs) 00:14, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
This is your third and last warning. If you keep this up I will report your behavior which is disruptive.
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Sidney Cooke. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. —C.Fred (talk) 00:18, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
DJ Kidd
Hey, im the author of DJ Kidd, and I'm sorry I'm new to wiki. I didn't know what undo-ing really did. I thought it was to request and talk directly. I hope you read this and can respond to my discussion/talk page on DJ Kidd. I don't understand the afd thing, but fans at facebook have agreed to helping improve the article. Can you enlighten me how to avoid deletion? please? --Musiclovers00 (talk) 05:32, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Notifying users of speedy deletion
Hi, do you think that when you tag articles for speedy deletion you can notify the creator? There's a bit of text in the template that you can copy and paste into the user's talkpage. Thanks. Smartse (talk) 20:34, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Eric McDavid
I apologize if I have angered anyone, I did not mean to start an editing war. I am simply trying to present an unbiased view of Eric McDavid's appeal. I am new to wikipedia editing and I am just beginning to understand the rules of citing and referencing. If you have any suggestions please feel free to help me along. I don't know how to cite a motion for appeal, but I do have a copy of the appeal and I assure you that the information represented in my edit is correct and unbiased. Thank youMReichel (talk) 21:45, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
I appreciate that, but I assure you I am not the lawyer in this case, even if my username suggests this. However I do have a copy of the motion to appeal the McDavid case and all my information comes from this document. I am not trying to start any editing wars, once again thank you for your help. If I try to post this section with the appeal correctly cited and referenced will that follow the guidelines of wikipedia? I don't see how anything I've written is slanted or biased, I have simply stated the facts of the appeal, nothing more.MReichel (talk) 21:59, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Hey thank you again for your input, I made several changes to my article and I have cited the motion to appeal as my source. If there is anything else you would like me to add or subtract please feel free to let me know and I will make the changes. Thank you againMReichel (talk) 22:19, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
A motion to appeal is NOT a reliable source. 98.248.32.178 (talk) 22:22, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
How is it not a reliable source? It's the ONLY source for information regarding McDavid's appeal! I have cited it properly and I am frustrated as to why you keep deleting it. I am not taking any stance as to Eric McDavid's guilt or innocence, I am simply providing the information that is in the appeal.MReichel (talk) 22:26, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
What else is there to say? Reread reliable sources and it's associated pages again. 98.248.32.178 (talk) 22:32, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
I did reread this section and I feel that this falls under the category of self-published sources. If this does not meet the criteria, do you have any other suggestions as to how I can make this post? I appreciate your help. Thank you
"Self-published sources are largely not acceptable, though may be used only in limited circumstances, with caution, when produced by an established expert on the topic of the article whose work in the relevant field has previously been published by reliable third-party publications." MReichel (talk) 22:40, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Who is the expert and in which third-party publication has their work appeared? A filing by an involved attorney hardly qualifies, and if this filing is the ONLY source, then it's inherently dependent on said attorney. Give it up; you're not going to successfully wikilawyer this one. 98.248.32.178 (talk) 22:49, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
- As reviewing admin, I took a look at this. You can give the fact of the appeal, and source it to the court paper.--but you must add some way of actually identifying and seeing the paper. You can not give a detailed account of the reasons for the appeal, unless they have been published by the court, or in a newspaper. The reason should be obvious--in an appeal, the attorneys job is to say whatever might possibly help the client. That is not the same as matters which are found by a court to be accurate. In the US adversary system of justice, where there are two sides, half of what the various attorneys say will almost necessarily not be correct. /as fir providing the information, the simple link will do it. 98. was quite correct to remove that section, though I restored what I could of the reference link itself.. DGG (talk) 05:38, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for your help, I will try to figure out a way for the appeal or some of my sources to be properly cited. I appreciate this and I assure you once again that my intentions are not to vandalize wikipedia in any way. I will make the corrections and try again. Thank you once againMReichel (talk) 07:27, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Professors, and some general advice
We really appreciate your patrolling --you are catching a good deal of really bad vandalism, and some articles that need deletion. I've followed up on some of them, and given a few appropriate warnings--and will block if some of the worst of it continues. But you are putting speedy deletion tags on some articles that do not really qualify. Please read carefully WP:CSD, and look closely at the limitations. A7 for lack of indication of notability can only be used for the classes of articles specified--not for products. You;ve got to use prods for those. Also, any indication of notability is sufficient. Indicating that someone is a professor at a university, or has written several books, is an indication of notability. It doesn't mean they;re necessarily notable, but the bar for passing speedy is very low, as compared with WP:N. We have special standards for authors and professors--for faculty, see WP:PROF,. which is different from WP:BIO--in practice someone like a full professors at Harvard is going to be notable. all that is needed is to show that their books or papers are significant in terms of reviews or citations. But keep up the good work--I'm not trying in the least to discourage you. I do add to what WikiDan said--it is immensely to your advantage to get a user name. If nothing else, your good work will be taken more seriously, as it well deserves to be. You will also findthewatchlist deature very convenient to ensure that people don't reverse what you have done. - If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
- The last few such edits you've undone had no red links. Given your concern for section placement, I suggest you simply move the section rather than undoing the edit and blanking it. As editors we're to assume good faith and collaborate with others when possible. —ADavidB 02:38, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Elevator Love Letter
It appears that you are trying to nominate this article for deletion. However, as an IP user, you cannot complete an AfD nomination on your own; only registered editors can do that. If you specify a good reason to request deletion of this article, a registered editor may be willing to help you and complete the nomination. However, since no explanation has been given for the deletion yet, it is possible that another editor will dismiss the nomination for deletion for being incomplete. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 03:54, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- You must have missed the "No indication it meets criteria for music singles" that was in one of my edits. 98.248.32.178 (talk) 03:55, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- Understood. You need to stop revert warring. Please prevent a cogent case for the deletion on the talk page and one of us will create an AFD for you. If you continue to revert, you violate WP:3RR, and you may be blocked from editing temporarily. alphachimp 04:12, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- How much more cogent than "doesn't meet the criteria" does it need to be? That's a rhetorical question, BTW. 98.248.32.178 (talk) 04:14, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- Look, I appreciate your activity flagging CSD A7 band pages. I'm personally unfamiliar with the criteria for music singles. That's what I mean by creating a case for it...just link to this criteria and explain how it is not met. alphachimp 04:16, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Hey so I requested the page I started to be removed for speedy deletion as a result of I wanted to work on it more first before making it in the public domain and I received a notification from you about not starting a page about self promotion. I first want to say that the man I was starting the page on I have never met, the only reason I felt compelled to start the page was because someone had started it earlier but copy and pasted off of a website and therefore the article was deleted. I felt that it was up to either I or another in my family to start up this page as a result of the fact that it is us who owns the rights to the use of his images since over the time we have come under the possesion of almost all of them. I understand that it looks a bit iffy at first but I assure you the man was a well respected artist with a certain degree of fame in his time (his name has even been cited by others under notable fashion illustrators on the fashion illustration page) and I am willing to prove this with various citations within the coming months. My main point to all this rant being I guess that I hope when I have most of the article written and decide to post it you do not remove it as a result of "self-promotion". If you have any more concerns or opinions to share with me about this I would greatly appreciate it.
- If it's well-written, well documented and not promotional you shouldn't have a problem. 98.248.32.178 (talk) 23:13, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry
I'm sorry for not controlling my feelings. I shouldn't have been upset before about the article orphanage. However, I have moved on as you have seen through my contributions. I like to thank you for watching over my contributions recently. It was helpful and I like to maintain a mutual relationship with you on Misplaced Pages. Thanks for everything. If you don't want to respond, that's fine with me. You can undo this edit. I just wanted to say this and get this off my chest. Esthertaffet (talk) 16:23, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- No problem - I've been at this too long to take it personally. 98.248.32.178 (talk) 16:26, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- You just made my day. Have a good day. Esthertaffet (talk) 16:32, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry, I undid your edit of removing all the redlinks since some of the people you removed such as Mukul Dev and PAlash Sen are notable even though they don't have articles of their own yet. I'll try and add more refs, instead I've added a template. Abeer.ag (talk) 19:16, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- Not to worry, refs showing notability are fine if an article doesn't exist. 98.248.32.178 (talk) 19:48, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Yeah its me
You're telling me not to write offensive stuff, but you'be gotten blocked yourself? ROFL, hypocrite practice what you preach! --Tenant23 (talk) 20:02, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
