Wilbur is a television show produced in Canada that airs on Kids' CBC.
Characters
Wilbur is the main character in the series. He's a calf that enjoys reading books. He solves many problems that happen between him and his friends by finding the solution in books.
Dasha is a duck. She is very talkative, but can be a little self-centered.
Ray is a rooster. He is brave, and not afraid of things, however, he is sometimes impolite at his friends.
Libby is a lamb. She is very young.
Structure of each episode
Each episode begins with Wilbur introducing the situation to the audience, and shortly into the episode, a problem arises between him and his friends. Then, Wilbur starts to wiggle, signifying that they'll begin reading a book. Then, a book that's related to the area of their problem is selected and they read the book. After reading the book, the friends would come up with a solution, but the solution isn't the correct solution, so they would read the book again. This time, instead of them reading the book word-by-word, the book would be summarized. After that, they would come up with the real solution.
