Azerbaijani Special Forces or Tigar Special Forces (Template:Lang-az) is the special operations unit of the Azerbaijani Army. In 2001, Azerbaijan created the special forces unit which was established with cooperation with Turkish Navy. The training and organisation structure of the Tigars is similar to Turkish special forces, Su Altı Taarruz and American Special Forces who have close training relationships with them. The first Tigar units were in Ganja following a joint training program with Turkey.
