The Christian Democratic Party (CDP) was a Christian social conservative party in South Africa. The party was registered on 9 September 1999 and was formally launched a year later. The CDP had seats in the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality and the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality.

The CDP's support was mainly in Gauteng, and its alliance partner in Mpumalanga was the Christen Party/Christian Party.
