Yusuf ibn Tashfin or Tashufin (born circa 1006) (died in 1106), was the Almoravid ruler in Muslim Spain and North Africa.
He took the title of amir al-muslimin (commander of the muslims).
He was a cousin(?)/nephew(?) of Abu-Bakr Ibn-Umar, the founder of the dynasty; he united the whole of the Mohammedan dominions in Spain to the Kingdom of Morocco (circa 1090), after being called to Spain by the Emir of Seville.
