Langside College is a further and higher education college located in the Mount Florida / Battlefield region of Glasgow.

It was established in 1947 and enrols over 10,000 students every year of whom over 1,500 are from countries outwith the European Union, the college operates in four main campuses and in over 80 community based venues spanning much of the Southside of Glasgow. Phase 1 of a newly built main campus was opened in May 2009 with a second phase, incorporating new sport, music and drama facilities, due for completion in 2010.

Getting there

The Langside Campus sits very close to the rail network and several major bus routes.

The city centre is only 7 minutes away by train of which there are 4 every hour from Mount Florida railway station to Glasgow Central station.

A number of buses from across the city pass by regularly also. Namely the 5, 34, 44, 44A, 66, 31, 89 and 90 from Firstbus.
