Hey Rob, saw the ANI thing and I asked Child of Midnight about it because I noticed the edit links were closed but I couldn't see the outcome or maybe I just didn't know where to look. I saw the comments, but you had a couple of defenders, too. I'm sure the admins are well familiar with the guys throwing fire bombs. And hey, you came out really well, no block. On the religion thing, the BLP is a good idea. Karl Rove seems to spend a lot of time there! agreed. There was a real battle over at EDL with Verbal. Scotland, NI and such like are really problematic. Single word changes can take weeks. I just stick to the talkpages. You keep deleting correct information that I am adding.

Camilla Kerslake is a classical singer, with an album released and so I do not understand why the wikipedia page I created for her must be deleted.

Also, I keep adding information to Gary Barlow's page that is correct and it is being deleted. I also notice that there is incorrect information on this page that I tried to edit but then my edit was deleted.

I have declined this speedy. Notability is asserted, and a quick Google News search shows multiple articles in national publications. I'm a little concerned that this is a case of biting a newbie. Oldelpaso (talk) 17:49, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

The subject does not look notable to me, there are no citations, perhaps a news event, as I see they are attempting to become notable, feel free to add come citations and content.Off2riorob (talk) 18:00, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Its more the fact that it was tagged as a speedy at all. If an article makes any plausible assertion of notability, then it is not suitable for speedy deletion and should not be tagged as such – take it to AFD if you wish. I'd never heard of this singer before, but the article indicates that she is signed to a major, asserting notability, and a quick Google showed that the information given checks out. I'll put a note on the creator's talk page to say that it hasn't been speedied and give a couple of pointers about how to cite, perhaps he/she will want to add more. What do you mean by 'uncited material'? I didn't add his children's dates of birth, that was there before! I added CORRECT information about when he and his wife met, rather than the currently incorrect information that is there, and listed further details about his charity efforts. Hi there. You probably don't need my third opinion on the content because the IP you're dealing with is most likely banned user HarveyCarter. I believe it's the same range he/she uses and it's the same MO, that's for sure. He/she has an obsession with people's sexuality and basically just adds a sentence or two claiming the subject has engaged in some type of homosexual encounter at some point. They almost never provide a source (if they do, they conveniently leave out page numbers so verification is impossible) and their reasoning is almost always "this is well known" or some other excuse. My advise is just revert, ignore and ask for semi-protection when the edit warring gets out of hand. Their circular arguments and edit warring will only serve to give you a headache. Anyhow, I've left a note on the talk page of the Boone article giving my opinion. I'll also watchlist the article and revert any of the IPs edits. He'll probably move on once he's been discovered, but he'll attempt to add the content back in about a month or two. Pinkadelica 17:54, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

Okay, on the external links thing, in the past I've clicked on links that go nowhere or they go to silly sites like something called, Ten Monkeys. No kidding, somebody actually tried to pass this off as a legitimate reference for something KR did or didn't do. Here's a picture of some heather. There's one link that goes to a CNN page that was put up by them for the 2004 presidential election. Of course when you go there now, the CNN election coverage page is there but the content is not. Possible collusion with Redheylin to harrass Cirt

Your exhange on Redheylin's talk page, and their subsequent ANI report regarding Cirt, makes it look like the two of you collaborated to harrass Cirt in some way. It's not clear from what happened on wiki that anything untoward actually occurred, but the behavior is suspicious enough for me to ask if you'd like to comment and clarify the situation in the ANI thread.
