Hey Oncamera, you'd think that whoever wrote would've at least gave you (us?) the credit! I mean, shoot! Some of the wording is the same! It's so weird when you see stuff out there on the web that's been taken from our WP work, even if it is free use. Anyway, congratulations on the successful peer review of ]. When you submit it for FA, you'll have my full support. I encourage you to do so before the Olympics. Gackt

Sorry about my revert. I thought I was cleaning out the links, but, something weird happened with the popups or something. I agree that most of what has been added lately is against WP:EL and didn't mean to exacerbate the problem. Neier 06:37, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

It's been recreated again, and by a suspicious user. I find it hard to believe that a new user with only one contribution could make a perfect Wiki page. SKS2K6 05:41, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Korea under Japanese rule

You are reverting the Korea under Japanese rule page without discussion and back to a version that has basic formating errors, is very POV and lack proper references or citations.

How can you sustain the wish to do so?

If you wish to contribute, please work to make a complete article by supplying adequate sources.

Thank you. 125.203.207.252 01:35, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Use the fact tag and try starting a discussion. You don't even do that yourself, so don't bother me if you want to discuss article changes; use those specific articles talk pages. oncamera 03:01, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

I think we have past that point already. The articles have had citations request for months in some case.
Unreferenced material and POV, never mind racial slurs, do not belong on the Misplaced Pages. It is as simple as that. It is not personal. Its policy.
I appreciate your minor corrections and have incorporated them. I request you provide more reliable citations. But the reversion are just pure vandlism.
To be frank, if all you guys are doing are identical reversion to some previous unreferenced versions, you are operating like a meatpuppet team which is what I have stated on the summary. Best not go in that direction. Thank you. 125.203.207.252 17:59, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Reverting to a former version is not vandalism. From the official policy on vandalism.

Any good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia, even if misguided or ill-considered, is not vandalism. Apparent bad-faith edits that do not make their bad-faith nature inarguably explicit are not considered vandalism at Misplaced Pages. For example, adding a personal opinion once is not vandalism — it's just not helpful, and should be removed or restated.

You're only saying that reverting your POV edits is vandalism as a defense to violating the 3 Revert Rule.

An editor must not perform more than three reverts, in whole or in part, on a single page within a 24-hour period. Any editor who breaches the rule may be blocked from editing for up to 24 hours in the first instance, and longer for repeated or aggravated violations.

Stop with this silly edit war you started, avoid violating the 3RR, and discuss your drastic changes to the article on the talk page before you make them to avoid an edit war. No one wants to waste their time re-editing your edits to make them NPOV. The citiation needed tags are currently being discussed on the talk page, so please keep any further "discussions" about Korea under Japanese rule on that article's talkpage since I don't want to waste any more of my talkpage's space on this.

Randy Moss

If you were the one who kept deleting what I put in the controversy section on Randy Moss you should really lighten up. Its the controversy section, and I didnt pull that out of my ass its been said by some of the biggest NFL analysts around. Just because you may like him or feel like you have a duty to not let anyone think badly of him, gives you no right to keep deleting what i wrote--Kanekutter05 04:54, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Will you just stop it? Honestly. Let it be, let one bad thing be written about him by someone else. Its not a lie. Leave it alone for Christ sakes.--Kanekutter05 05:45, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

If I'm not allowed by yourself apparently to add uncited comments to the artice then there should be no reason for any other uncited material to be on the page as well, am I correct in your reasoning? I believe I am. So either let me put what I want, or delete everything else uncited. Your choice.--Kanekutter05 05:45, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

External Links on Japanese Music Articles

None of the links I posted violate Misplaced Pages policy. And either way, with the ridiculous amount of fansites that are linked on so many Japanese artists' pages, I don't see why the quality of the links are being brought into question in the first place. In fact, it looks like the links I posted should be in the green:

Links to be considered

1. For albums, movies, books, and other creative works, links to professional reviews.

Dear "oncamera", I am sorry. Should it be 'Ms. Oncamera'? You don't say. The polite custom in England is to call someone whom one does not know by a prefix; that is pretty standard and since WP is not a property of the United States, I hope that you will allow that English customs may be acceptable alongside those of the United States. Otherwise, I trust that the above may be acceptable. I noted your splendid coloured version of your pseudonym, but I took it that you did not wish this to be reproduced in a reply. Korea under Japanese rule

Please teach a part not correct.

Japanese influence was instrumental in bringing about various social reforms in Korea, including the introduction of modern law and the abolition of slavery. However, Japan ultimately relegated Korea to the status of a colony.

Did not a Japanese empire modernize a Korean peninsula? --Necmate 14:41, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Crazy Horse

I am new to Misplaced Pages, so am still understanding how to make changes. But you appear to have gone back in and reinserted a paragraph that I deleted. Please allow me to explain why I deleted that section. Mostly, the paragraph is inaccurate:

1. Dr. McGillycuddy was NOT at the Little Big Horn or at the Battle of Wolf Mountain. 2. Camp Robinson did not become known as Fort Robinson until 1878. 3. Crazy Horse was NOT made an Indian scout in an effort to get him to go to Washington,D.C. 4. The paragraph as reinserted is out of sequence when compared to the remainder of the section.

This image was provided to my website by another contributing photographer. I was wrong to authorize it being added to Commons as I am not the true copyright holder. He has not authorized it's use by Misplaced Pages in anyway and it needs to be removed promptly from any and all usage other we shall both initiate litigation promptly.Dannyg3332 19:49, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

I would certainly welcome that as it would make matters more clear and easier for everyone. Native Americans

I have restored the information about the failed Ajacan Mission and Don Luis, and provided several of the many credible sources available on the subject. More are listed in each of the WP articles linked. I hope that addresses your concerns. If not, please advise what yiou feel is needed on my talk page. Thanks. Mark in Historic Triangle of Virginia. Vaoverland 01:33, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

As per your suggestion, I have greatly condensed the mention of the Ajacan Mission. The Native American name of Don Luis seems to have been lost to history. Mark Vaoverland 04:39, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Please do not slander my page

Are you using ID(Mackan) for provocation?

This ID is childish. Therefore, this ID and you might be another persons. However, how did this ID get to know me? It is my doubt.

This ID does the stalking to me. for example...

Is it a nationalist to make the alphabet in ascending order? --LuckyandLucky 17:59, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

No idea what that means concerning nationalism and I can't explain why others do what they do; looking at your contributions isn't necessarily stalking. I do it when I come across vandals, to go back and undo their vandalism.
Anyway, I can't do anything about other editor's behaviours/edits. Use those editor's talkpages to discuss their edits, in a serious manner instead of copy-pasting their comment and just replacing your username with theirs. And, I just left the links to the history of those articles instead of the actual text. Cheers, oncamera 18:29, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
I am sorry for making you revolted. However, I am doubting that this ID "Mackan" is your bodyguard. --LuckyandLucky 18:48, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Mike Honda comfort women

The contents which the party of anti-Japan added and got from you were erased. He is glad, when it is added to an argument and can obtain. LikeCoffee 23:58, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

I was disappointed at you. Good-bye LikeCoffee 07:45, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but Merumerume made a solid arguement. Just because millions of people in Japan think it's shameful for what an American named Mike Honda supports, how do you think it feels to the women who were mistreated so many years ago? To their families? Many died without ever getting a real apology, at the very least. Think about that when you're thinking of who should be disappointed. oncamera 07:51, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
It seems that you do not fully understand the comfort-women problem. Comfort women are prostitutes. There are many sufficient data and public American data. If it does not make an issue of past in South Korea at the time of restoration of diplomatic relations, oaths were exchanged and the great compensation is paid also including the part of North Korea. Comfort women were protected by the army and had got more remuneration than a military man. Although testified for a lie (there is also backing of false testimony), since the Japan side defense person is in nobody, they do not require what refutes perjury.

Apolo Anton Ohno

Hi ya Oncamera, I have just passed this article to GA. My apologies for taking so long; my only excuses are excessive busyness and my desire to go through it with a copyedit one more time. Thanks for your patience, and congratulations.

I think that this article has the potential to get to FA. Before that, however, I suggest that you put it through another thorough copyedit and/or peer review. I have some solid WP citizens I can suggest. There are still some weaknesses, but I think that with a couple of extra eyes who know what they're doing, this could be an excellent article. Most of my copyedit was small, piddly changes. For example, this may seem inconsequential, but it's important: According to the MOS, we use logical quotation. I quote from the MOS:

On Misplaced Pages, place all punctuation marks inside the quotation marks if they are part of the quoted material and outside if they are not. This practice is referred to as logical quotation. It is used by Misplaced Pages both because of the principle of minimal change, and also because the method is less prone to misquotation, ambiguity, and the introduction of errors in subsequent editing.

The other small changes I made were to the citations, mostly for aesthetic reasons. I mean, why include the commands you're not using? It clutters up everything, and we must be tidy! ;)

Again, congratulations, and thanks for the opportunity to learn more about this interesting individual. Good luck in your future WP endeavors! --Christine (talk) 05:51, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Gackt article respond: GreyWolfy

".. and understand Misplaced Pages's policies of keeping the article's language neutral, the references reliable, and avoid using peacock words."

- Like first, isn't easiest to delete other hard done jobs, just ignore and do nothing, but just nothing, neither help, or if you are like some "wikiepdia master" to make the article how it's need to look, to heal my wrong used words to neutral, remove peacock words? Dose really need references 100 different pages where information come, when all is in one, or few of it? Dose will person/people what come here go on that web site, and look for it? NO, how I done the references list, YES. I wrote and will write just the truth, and sometimes its neither need reliable sources when 99% people know it before is posted, do you understand my point?

"Read WP:Sock puppetry and WP:MEAT.."

- I could get this like insult, only because my house, or place where I live is institutions called "orphanage", where is the same IP, in one computer, where many people like Gackt Camui, he is our strenght to surpass trauma where we are living, with his music, lyrist, to smile more with his funny moments. To some people he is just a entertainer, nothing special, some there Japanese man ( for nacionalism way, what is really famous around the planet ), but if someone helped people more with his music, bring them up on legs, gave them smile and happines, is him, more then anyone else... But I won't be insulted, I just want his article be better written, but neither I, with my hard done job is enoguh good to describe him to people who he really is, and how much he is important to us and this planet. I only wanted, you, who better udnerstand this, help this project to make people know him.. But I see is blind road. --GreyWolfy (talk) 21:09, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
