Frequently Asked Questions about my name.

Q1 Did you just pick this as a random name or do you really like the band Coldplay?
A Yes, I did pick this name because I am a fan of Coldplay.
Q2 Why did you choose such an odd name?
A Funny story. You see at the time that I joined Misplaced Pages, I couldn't think of a name so I decided to go with Coldplay Expert as it was the first name that popped into my head.
Q3 Have you ever regretted choosing Coldplay Expert as your name?
A Yes! All the time!
Q3 If you dont like your name, then why not change it?
A Because I have already become an established editor and people know me by Coldplay Expert, not some other random but equally stupid name.

Barnstar

The Resilient Barnstar

For being able to take all the criticism you had in the past, and using it to grow. I think you have improved quite a bit over the past few weeks. :) You deserve this barnstar. Cheers! :) --Meaghan 02:12, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Wow, thanks Meaghan!--Coldplay Expért 02:21, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Coldplay fan?

Cool.. So am I.. but I also like other bands you probably wouldn't like... have you seen my userpage?--The other shadow 03:14, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Thats cool (PS to everyone who was involved in a certain IP claiming he was me...that was me! I was unable to log in because of the wikibreak enforcer. Three words, it is EVIL!--Coldplay Expért 11:26, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Cryptographic Hash Keys

Do you need help with them as you suggested you might? --ThejadefalconThe bird's seeds 22:45, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Yes, thank you.--Coldplay Expért 22:50, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
First things first. Download this. Then type in any string of characters into the box marked "Data" (make sure the "Date Format" drop-down menu is selected for "Text string"). This is sort of a back-up password, so nothing obvious. Now, untick all of the boxes below except the one next to "SHA512" (the most secure by my understanding). Then click "Calculate". Now, copy the EXACT string of characters you typed and the EXACT number HashCalc pumped out into a Notepad file or something and put it in the bowels of your PC. Then you take the numbers HashCalc gave you and place it in this: {{User committed identity|(((NUMBER HERE)))|background=#FC9|border=#000}} You can change the colours if you want, that's just the default colouring. Put that template on your user page. That way, if your password is ever cracked, you can prove who you are through your hash key since it's virtually impossible to crack the code to convert it from a hash key back into reasonable text. if your account is compromised, tell the string you used to get the hash to a trustworthy user (probably an admin). They will compare the codes and take the appropriate action. However, this is why you have to get the codes exactly correct. Even one letter's difference can produce an entirely different hash key. There you go. Hope that was simple and succinct enough. --ThejadefalconThe bird's seeds 23:51, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh, and the string that you use to convert the hash can be whatever length you want. The hash key itself always seems to be one hundred and twenty-eight characters long, whether the secret string was a single letter or forty-eight. --ThejadefalconThe bird's seeds 23:53, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
OK thanks, ill get right to it :) (Later)--Coldplay Expért 23:56, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
(laughs) It takes about five minutes, if that. xD --ThejadefalconThe bird's seeds 23:59, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Uhg. this is way too complicated for me to do this! Need help--Coldplay Expért 00:10, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
If you truly need help, I can do it for you, but you'll need to do it over e-mail. It's preferable not to have another's help because this is in essence a back-up password, but I like to think of myself as trustworthy. --ThejadefalconThe bird's seeds 00:16, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
While I Do Trust you, I meant to say, what do I do once its downloaded? I have the setup stuff there now so what else.--Coldplay Expért 00:17, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
I presume you've installed it? Trust me, I've seen so many people who haven't done something as obvious as that I try to remember to ask that first, so don't take that as an insult to your intelligence. --ThejadefalconThe bird's seeds 00:22, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
OK I got it. Check my page. Thanks! (Im going now)--Coldplay Expért 00:33, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
I deleted the brackets. Sorry, I just used that brackets to help make the part you needed to customise clearer. And there you go. Just, whatever you do, don't lose your secret string. Otherwise you'll be locked out forever unless you counter-hack the account. --ThejadefalconThe bird's seeds 00:36, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

Did You Know question

Hello! Your submission of Army of Flanders at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! (Note: I always leave approvals to others.) Oseberg oilfield

Hi CE, probably best to check that an expansion is at least roughly 5X before nominating. Oseberg oil field was barely doubled by Tuscumbia and even now that I've doubled it again, I think that it's likely well short of the mark. I don't mind helping out with a final push to get an article there, but this one is starting to feel like hard work. Mikenorton (talk) 19:55, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

Im sorry, I can delete the nom if you want. I had a feeling that it was not long enough. Anyway thanks for the help.--Coldplay Expért 00:01, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
No, leave it for now. I'm waiting for someone to check the expansion and tell me how much more I need to add. If no-one has looked at it by the 6th, I'll try to add some more anyway to fit within the 5 day time-frame. Not trying to put you off, just asking you to give a rough check before nominating. Cheers, Mikenorton (talk) 11:19, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Well I've expanded it further, possibly sufficient for the 5x required. I would appreciate it if you would add me as joint expander with Tuscumbia. Thanks, Mikenorton (talk) 12:50, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Sure :) Ill go right ahead.--Coldplay Expért 16:08, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for that, appreciated. Mikenorton (talk) 17:04, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Hi again, I installed this handy DYK counting tool, so now I know that the article is long enough. Install it, and it will appear on your sidebar in the toolbox. Run it over any article and it will give you the stats. Cheers, Mikenorton (talk) 00:10, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Call it irrelevant...

...but I've got a brilliant idea! Has a the retirement of a user you knew well ever bothered you? Made you sad? Well, with the brand-new un-patented User:Spongefrog/Vicenarian userbox, you can keep this user's memory alive! Simply copy-paste the text, figure out the ridiculously complicated parameters, replace User:Vicenarian with the name of the user you want to commemorate, and add the date they retired on, and voila! You have a custom userbox thing! Lord Spongefrog, (Talk to me, or I'll eat your liver!) 22:10, 4 December 2009 (UTC) P.S. - Did you know Guitarherochristopher has recently been blocked for ban evasion or something? Lord Spongefrog, (Talk to me, or I'll eat your liver!) 22:10, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Yeah I did. Now I have to find a user that has retired that I knew well....--Coldplay Expért 23:33, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Javert. At any rate, I just wanted to drop by and congratulate you on the nice job you've been doing, in tandem with others, on World War II. :) @Kate (talk) 23:50, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Why thank you ate but you are Javert (the editor) :) I cant say you dont exist!--Coldplay Expért 23:51, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Smoothe

Due to the fact that he has a charting album and several charting singles, I don't think it qualifies.Live and Die 4 Hip Hop (talk) 00:42, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion contested: Smoothe da Hustler

Hello Coldplay Expert, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I contested the speedy deletion of Smoothe da Hustler - a page you tagged - because: A charting album is a "claim to significance/importance" Take it to AfD if you'd like. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. @Kate (talk) 00:45, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

No sources will result in either WP:SPEEDY or WP:AFD, sorry. If you can cite it, it can porbably stay.--Coldplay Expért 00:47, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
Its ok Kate if sources can be provided ill let it go :)--Coldplay Expért 00:48, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
(edit conflict)Right; but a "claim" isn't necessarily true/verifiable. The article claimed significance/importance, so it skates over A7.. sorry about the templated message, btw. @Kate (talk) 00:49, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

2010 WikiCup Signups Reconfirmation!

To ensure that everyone who signed up is still committed to participating in the 2010 WikiCup, it is required that you remove your name from this list! By removing your name, you are not removing yourself from the WikiCup. This is simply a way for the judges to take note of who has not yet reconfirmed their participation. If you have not removed your name from that list by December 30th, 2009 (by 23:59 (UTC)) then your name will be removed from the WikiCup.

It's worth noting the rules have changed, likely after you signed up. The changes made thus far are:

  • Mainspace and/or portal edits will not be awarded points at all.
  • Did you know? articles (which were worth 5 points last year) will now be worth 10 points.
  • Good articles (which were worth 30 points last year) will now be worth 40 points.
  • Valued pictures will be now awarded points, however the amount (5 or 10 points) is still being discussed.
  • Featured lists (which were worth 30 points last year) will now be worth 40 points.
  • Featured portals (which were worth 25 points last year) will now be worth 35 points.
  • Featured articles (which were worth 50 points last year) will now be worth 100 points.
  • Featured topics (which were worth 10 points per article last year) will now be worth 15 points per any article in the topic that you were a major contributor to.
  • Good topics (which were worth 5 points per article last year) will now be worth 10 points per any article in the topic that you were a major contributor to.
  • In the news will still be awarded points, however the amount (5 or 10 points) is still being discussed.

If you have any final concerns about the WikiCup's rules and regulations, please ask them now, before the Cup begins to avoid last minute problems. You may come to the WikiCup's talk page, or any of the judge's user talk pages. We're looking forwards to a great 2010 WikiCup! On behalf of the WikiCup judges, iMatthew  at 03:42, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Your To-Do List: Stalingrad

Hey man,
Let me introduce myself. I am Twilight's adoptee. I saw your page on her talk and was intrigued. When I saw your to-do list on your front page I immediately got a bit nervous. You see, I am in high school. Last year, I wrote an 8 page essay on the Battle of Stalingrad. Now, of course Misplaced Pages was not my only source, but it was a sizable chunk of my research. What exactly do you mean by saying that the Stalingrad article is not a "good article"???

Haha, I'm sorta kidding. My name's Mark. You seem like a cool guy, so...Hi! :D

MαЯκи951 (talk) 02:12, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Well hello mark. Me and Twilight Helryx (I call her Twilight for short) sort of know each other on wikipedia. (As in we work together on several articles) And Its nice to know that she is good at adoption. And when I say that the Battle of Stalingrad is not a WP:Good article, its not the best article on the site. However it is ranked as B-Class by the said wikiprojects. (If you what you can help me down the road at getting this to GA class). Theres nothing to be worried about. Im sure you got an A. (Wow. the last time I wrote an essay-on Utopia by Thomas More-it was 6 1/2 pages!)--Coldplay Expért 02:23, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Number of legs on a dog

There's a famous story about Abraham Lincoln. If you call a tail a leg, how many legs does a dog have? Four, because calling a tail a leg don't make it a leg. Misplaced Pages is like that sometimes. Sometimes if someone is saying the dog has five legs and everyone else who's been watching knows it only has four, it's pretty obvious what's what. So when someone tells me the dogs has five legs I find it easiest simply to ignore 'em. Gerardw (talk) 03:34, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

See the essay here. It's a good read. xD --ThejadefalconThe bird's seeds 03:38, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Repeat Red Star

Repeat Red Star

Congratulations, White Shadows! The first nine Red Stars of each cycle will consist of repeats from the previous cycle. The repeats will be users who did not receive the Orange Star. It's my pleasure to give you another shot at receiving the Orange Star today, on December 9, 2009! Keep up the great work! A record of this award will always be kept at User:Meaghan/Shining Stars. Enjoy! Meaghan 00:03, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

This is for the same reasons as the barnstar I gave you a while ago, as well your DYKs, your work to make WWII a good article, and your excellent vandal-fighting. Keep up the great work, you've done quite well. Cheers! --Meaghan 00:03, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Wow. Thanks Meaghan! Its and honnor to recive the RRS. Maybe this time Ill get the Orange Star!--Coldplay Expért 01:00, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

I'm afraid after multiple tags on their talk, they stopped reading it (or they would read my comment and won't get re-blocked). I'm afraid the only thing they'll notice is efforts to cleanup that page. Materialscientist (talk) 02:55, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Coldplay, can you give me one good reason I shouldn't ask an administrator to block you right now, as you've gone against your promise to stop myspacing? iMatthew  at 23:38, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

To be honest IMatthew. No I dont have even one reason good reason that would defend myself. Your right I unintentionally lied. Im sorry. Go ahead and report me if you want. Im not being rude here either, Im dead serious. Sorry IMatthew. I should have realized where this was going...--Coldplay Expért 23:42, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
You can blame me for jumping in. Perhaps if I didn't, the conversation would have ended with Spongefrog's wry closing. Look, Coldplay's already stopped so there's no need to take this any further. This got a little out of hand nobody's talking now. So, please, don't; because all you'll do is turn away an otherwise excellent editor (just look at everything he's done in the World War II related articles). Coldplay, do not, I repeat, do not make any more replies or comments.--Twilight Helryx 00:01, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Hi Coldplay Expert. I think it's best that you drop the WP:STICK . What's done is done and comments like that, even if they make you feel better, don't really help anyone else. Don't fight fire with fire (essay)

Hey, Coldplay. I've just added some insight I've gained from this experience on one of my adoptee's lesson page. Why don't you come check it out? =) This is centered more around my experience and point of view, so I hope I didn't inadvertently make you and the others sound bad. Please tell me what you think. Cheers!--Twilight Helryx 19:39, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

I liked it. I thought it was good and useful to read, even for experienced editors. I'm not going to let myself get dragged into another thing like that, especially with what I'm thinking of doing soon. It was a good read. --ThejadefalconThe bird's seeds 19:44, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, Jade. I'm glad you think so. ^-^ Next time I see such a situation, I'm also staying out of it.--Twilight Helryx 19:46, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
You did get one thing wrong though. It went on the talk page before ANI, not after. Also, an argument could be made for diffs, but I can understand why you didn't use them. --ThejadefalconThe bird's seeds 19:55, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

(edit conflict)::A boor is a rude or insensitive person. Sorry, maybe I should have used a different choice of words. @Jade: Don't really know. Maybe it's because I don't want the indentations to get too long? =P --Twilight Helryx 22:18, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I myself find "eye for an eye" catchier, probably because it is briefer and well known. I just asked that because it's a fire themed article. So, do you think it's ready to be officially published?--Twilight Helryx 22:26, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Should I add a neutral version of my anecdote?--Twilight Helryx 22:27, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Well in order. No I dont think that its ready just yet. And yes you should add the neutral version. We need more than just two paraghraphs though.--Coldplay Expért 22:29, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Actually, from my point of view, this was relevant to the encyclopaedia. I'd gone on a rampage of article moving and Coldplay chipped in. This was a jokey way of telling him not to bother, to leave it all to me and to find something more productive to do (he probably saw me talk about it on my talk page, correct?). Therefore, while I can see how it might be mistaken for MySpacing (and for that I apologise), it wasn't. --ThejadefalconThe bird's seeds 02:44, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

How can you help?

Do you like bacon?

I've recently become an active part of a little group project called the Bacon Challenge. Bacon Challenge 2010 is basically a bacon-fest – the goal is to create and expand articles about or relating to bacon, and if possible getting them to DYK, GA, or FA. The same thing goes with pictures uploaded (one photo that I uploaded, for instance, was File:Pig candy.jpg). (I recommend that with any pictures you upload, use Flickr upload bot over at Wikimedia Commons - it's the only sure-fire way I know of that prevents any possible copyright violations from occurring.) There's also a Bacon WikiCup accompanying the Bacon Challenge.

To sign up, just click here. Of course, you may ask me for help, though I would personally recommend that you direct help queries to the Bacon Challenge's proprietor, ChildofMidnight (talk · contribs). Cheers, Dylan620 (contribs, logs) 02:59, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas!

Once again it is festive season, a time where festive decorations are displayed and gifts are swapped; but what about the true meaning of christmas? The true meaning of christmas is about the fight for freedom and how in times of hardship and misery, one person leads their people to freedom as a great warrior; for those who fight for a cause are warriors and those who fight for a worthy cause are great warriors. Such an act earns respect and honour; but most importantly, brings happiness to their people. So to achieve this as happiness lies in other people's happiness and greatness lies in how you deal with little people, we selflessly think of others in the hope that they will be happy this christmas.

Hi White Shadows, have a very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year 2010!

World War II category sorting

Hi! I noticed you undid a number of changes I made to articles in the World War II category. Is there a particular reason why these articles should be in the main categories rather than sub-categories? E.g. Norwegian campaign fits nicely in the World War II Western European Theatre sub-category, I think. But obviously you think otherwise. Share your thoughts with me? RFA Thanks

My RFA →→→

Dear Coldplay Expert, here is a little note to say thank you for your kind vote on my request for adminship which failed with a final result of (40/19/12).

Thank you for your participation in my RfA which I withdrew after concerns of my knowledge of policy. Special thanks are owed to Coffee, who defended me throughout and whom I cannot thank enough for the nomination; to 2over0 for being supportive and helpful; to A Stop at Willoughby for the thorough, thoughtful and articulate support rationale; to IP69.226.103.13 for maintaining composure and for a pleasant interaction on my talk page and, last but not least, to Juliancolton who was good enough to close the RfA at my request and, frankly, because an editor whom I respect so much found the time to support me! If the need for more admins at the main page is still apparent in a few months, I may try again. Thank you all for a relatively drama-free RfA and for providing me with much material from which to learn from my mistakes. You're all welcome to drop by my talk page any time. God save the Queen Wiki! HJMitchell You rang? 00:08, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Forgot?

Template:Tpl What did I forget in Lord Spongefrog's name? Oh, how did you get the colors into your signature and the hyperlinks that direct me to your talk page and user contributions? Happy New Year!--Micro 101 (talk) 14:57, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Talk Page Design

I've got to ask, how are you using this great talk page design. I love it! -- Matthew Glennon (/C\) 15:21, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

User:Meaghan created about 99% of it. The userbox at the top was mine :D--Coldplay Expért 16:08, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Oh, you still haven't answered my question about the fancy signatures. Every time I enter the code on My Preferences, it comes up as words, not colors or letters.

Oh sorry. You need to check the box below your sig for it to work.--Coldplay Expért 18:58, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Pipelinking

Hello, Thanks so much for the pipelinking on my page. My husband wants to know if this is something he's going to have to kick your a** for. XD.Malke2010 22:12, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Why? Im just linking it to the wikipedia policy. (Your husband sounds overly protective. Im only here to help the project, nothing else!)--Coldplay Expért 00:24, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, and if you're old enough to be married, Coldplay would probably be much too young for you anyway. X3 --Twilight Helryx 00:30, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
What?!? Yeah, she's right. I think that its kinda odd that a --- year old is teaching someone like you how to edit wikipedia. PS. Twilight, I know that its already been revelaed that Im a minor but can you keep that info a little quiet. Its called "ageism"--Coldplay Expért 00:33, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Yes, that's definitely ageism. . .Let's keep that quiet. Also, thanks so much for the comment on my talk page. That guy is creepy. What's his problem? Is he a troll?Malke2010 00:38, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh, it's not odd that a _ year old is teaching someone who's just under thirty and over educated how to edit wikipedia. This is the perfect venue for your age group. And of course, Coldplay, the band not you, appeals to every age. Well, it does to us. And my hubby was just making a joke. I didn't know what pipelinking meant and I said it out loud and then he replied.Malke2010 00:42, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Ok. No problem. As for your talk page issue. No, he's not a troll but rather one who is biteing aka driveing away newbies.--Coldplay Expért 00:46, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
A little late, I know, but sorry Coldplay, I didn't think much about it. =X Ah well, there isn't much for me to be age-ist about given that I'm a minor myself. *shuts up* --Twilight Helryx 00:49, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Well thats nice to know. You have now stated something that will KILL (I cannot stress this enough) KILL you when it comes to an RFA. You just may fail based on that alone. As for me. None of you will get to know my actual age until I have passed an RFA (for that very reason).--Coldplay Expért 00:53, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
I for one will pay Jimbo Wales cash for making you an RFA. You are brilliant. Age does not matter. It's spirit, heart and brains. And you have that. Have you applied to colleges yet? Have you thought about Dartmouth?Malke2010 00:56, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
I second that. In the end, it will come down to whether people would trust a very mature and responsible minor or an idiotic, immature, and totally policy-ignorant adult; and if they chose the latter, then they would be fools. And ageism can be stepped around if you've made plenty of good edits. ;) --Twilight Helryx 00:59, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
And I always make a distinction between "physical age" and "mental age". Your physical age would be the one you are in years and your mental age would be your level of maturity.--Twilight Helryx 01:02, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
@Malke, UVA all the way. And let me put it like this, Im not quite old enough to apply for a shcool just yet. (I am in high school though).--Coldplay Expért 01:04, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Well said Twilight. And as for UVA, well done Mr. Expert. UVM was Thomas Jefferson's school and we all know how well he turned out--except for the egregious keeping of slaves--aside from that----he was one heck of a guy. Go UVM.Malke2010 01:07, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
@Twilight. Tell that to all the opposers at Julian's RFB :(--Coldplay Expért 01:08, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
(edit conflict) Yep. I've known sixty year old idiots, but I was very mature for my age when I was a wee nipper. And tell them to what? Grow up? If someone's only objection to his RfB is his age, that's their own problem. --ThejadefalconThe bird's seeds 01:10, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Who is Julian and what is an RFB?Malke2010 01:10, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
User:Juliancolton. One of wikipedia's most respected admins. And RFA is Request for Adminship while RFB is Request for Beuracratship (spelled wrong)--Coldplay Expért 01:13, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Bureaucrat, Coldplay. :P --ThejadefalconThe bird's seeds 01:16, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
(edit conflict)@Coldplay: If I see those fools again and they're doing the same thing, I think I will. ;3
@Jade: Ditto with 20, 30, 40-year-olds.--Twilight Helryx 01:18, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
@Coldplay/Jade what is a Bureaucrat? Like an Overlord? Like Darth Vader?Malke2010 01:21, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Bureacrats promote people to adminship through a sucessful RFA. (See: WP:CRAT for more)--Coldplay Expért 01:28, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

RE: WP:UP

Thank you for not even knowing the rules and talking down to me as if I didn't know them myself. Did you even read my message? First of all, she cannot do anything she wants with any message. She cannot delete selective parts of messages, as that is refactoring posts, and is strictly prohibited, nor, per what I already said, can she change specific parts of a post. This includes removing a signature or replacing the signature with your own or someone else's, so don't you dare quote policy to me when you don't even know it yourself. How about you actually read what you cite before you bother citing it. Lastly, my beef wasn't what she did with the message, but her edit summary. She is not allowed to lie about what the edit entails. She obviously was not adding a message but removing one. Deceit in edit summaries simply isn't allowed, just like one isn't allowed to call good-faith edits vandalism.— dαlus 01:20, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Dont worry Malke, I got this...--Coldplay Expért 01:21, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Are you seriously reading selective parts of my post? Try reading the entire thing before getting back to me, thanks.— dαlus 01:30, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
I'm sorry, but I find it hard to believe you when you say that I said one thing when I in fact said something entirely different. Again, please read my entire post before getting back to me. If you wish me to point out your fallacies, in light of not being able to find them yourself, then just ask.— dαlus 01:36, December 31, 2009
Alright, first, I'll start by stating things in a summary, then I'll explicitly cite and explain:

First of all, I stated that Mal is not allowed to lie in edit summaries. You then come on the page defending Mal, saying that she can remove posts and other things. I correct you, saying that she cannot do specific things, and again refer to my above statement. You fail to listen and again put words in my mouth.

Now for the explicit explanation:

I stated, to Mal, that she is not allowed to Lie in edit summaries, as she did here. You come defending her, stating that she can do whatever she wants with messages on it, citing WP:UP. I clarify to you, that she can not indeed do anything she wants with any messages. I state what she cannot do with messages. I do not state that she perpetrated any of the described acts. Further, I never stated that she was not allowed to remove messages.

You then quote policy at me again, putting words in my mouth again while calling me blind, citing WP:CIVIL(talk about double standards). I tell you to make sure you've read my entire post, because it was quite obvious you weren't reading it, otherwise the aforementioned points would be obvious to you.

You wrongly state that you have read the post, even telling me that I didn't back up my accusation(even though I quite clearly did, when I cited her lying in an edit).

I express rightful disbelief at your fallacy of having read my post, per my points above.

Therefore, I stand by my statement that you have not read my post. You are quite obviously assuming and reading into my posts, instead of reading them explicitly, as I have asked of you. So again. Read my post, please, before responding any further.dαlus 02:02, December 31, 2009

Are you really not reading posts? Read my posts completely before responding further, but here, I'll make the specific thing you're not getting easier for you to read:

I never said she refactored any posts. You said she could do anything she wants with any message on her talk page. I corrected you, saying that she could not do anything she wants. I never said she refactored anything, and I never said she couldn't remove messages. If you fail to read this, I don't know how in the seven hells I'm going to get through to you.dαlus 02:15, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Disclaimer: The above was posted before I saw your reply on the user's talk page.— dαlus 02:18, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

The best thing to do is not reply to this. The more you reply, the more he'll post and keep changing the argument. It's apparent by what he's saying that he only wants an argument. So let it go by.Malke2010 02:26, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
