Midwood High School, at Brooklyn College, is a New York City Public High School located on Bedford Avenue. It is comprised of over 3000 students and is ranked as a "School Of Excellence" by U.S. News and World Report. Well known for its Medical Science program, it also has a program that focuses on the Humanities and one labeled "Collegiate" which takes in students from the surrounding neighborhood of Flatbush, Brooklyn. It traditionally places among the top ten best high schools in Brooklyn, after specialized high school Brooklyn Tech.
