Hi Sulmues, Please don't add the "hangon" template to articles which has been nominated for Afd. The hangon tags are used only for ] candidates. Improperly adding them to other articles only creates a larger backlog and more administrative work at CSD review. I would appreciate your consideration on this. Your recent edits
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:09, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
Albania editsummaries
Hi- please use descriptive editsummaries, especially when editing the Albania article. For instance, it's hard to tell why you removed this image. tedder (talk) 21:58, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
- Had already motivated that move when I saw your message. Please continue to use my talk page for this problem. Left you also a note on your talk page.sulmues --Sulmues 22:03, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
- Yep, thanks! In general, I'll leave it to you editors to explain the conflict and try to reach consensus on the talk page. tedder (talk) 22:07, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
Edwin Everett Jacques
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Edwin Everett Jacques, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.macedoniaontheweb.com/forum/archive/t-1893.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 22:52, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
I didn't use the above copy but http://www.frosina.org/articles/default.asp?id=87 and http://wikibin.org/articles/edwin-e.-jacques.html which I properly referenced. I will rework the article. Please do not delete the article, but let me know in my talk page if possible what can I do to keep the article. user:sulmues--Sulmues 22:56, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

please have the decency to revert yourself
This is completely unacceptable! He did not "welcome" me, he threatened me, and got a one week block for it. Unless you want to join him, revert yourself IMMEDIATELY. --Athenean (talk) 19:15, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
You know I have to care about your feelings, so I reverted again. I think lceliku was joking, but he still welcomed you to the page. I am in civilty supervision and you aren't, but you might be too one day (see ). Now isn't this ("Unless you want to join him, revert yourself IMMEDIATELY!") a threat? sulmues (talk)
- First, the page doesn't belong to him (or you), so he has no business "welcoming" me. I've been on this encyclopedia a lot longer than the both of you, so if anything, it should be the other way around. And no, he wasn't "joking", which is why he got a one week block for it. In case you haven't noticed, we don't take kindly to this sort of "humor" on this encyclopedia. --Athenean (talk) 19:35, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
- Some sideritis and sugar is what you need so that you don't cough hate anymore. Peace!sulmues (talk)--Sulmues 02:50, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article İbriktepe, please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Misplaced Pages:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Edwin Everett Jacques
A tag has been placed on Edwin Everett Jacques, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Camw (talk) 12:12, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
Status and Advice
As reviewing administrator, I deleted the article. Icopy from the talk page there: Previous page was at Edwin E. Jacques and AfD was at Misplaced Pages:Articles_for_deletion/Edwin_E._Jacques. Camw (talk) 12:14, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
Correct! And it was deleted for the first time because it had copy pasted material from a forum. However in its present form, with the references provided, it should be acceptable. Please let me know if still isn't and where I could improve the article. And thanks for removing the wikibin reference, my bad using that!sulmues (talk)--Sulmues 22:14, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
My response to this is:
- It was removed not because it was copied from a forum, but because it did not show notability--the single book was fairly widely held, but there was only one review, and no other signs of notability. see Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Edwin E. Jacques.
- What you need to do, to to find additional material. If it was controversial in Albania, there should be some references from there. I'd suggest asking a librarian knowledgable in the area ( which I am not) to try to find them, or ask at the Albanian Misplaced Pages. DGG ( talk ) 22:20, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
- and please do not keep trying to repost it until you have the material. When you do, I recommend putting it in a subpage of your user space, and asking me or some other admin to take a look at it--otherwise it will almost certainly be quickly deleted again, and you are very likely to be blocked for persistently submitting unacceptable articles. DGG ( talk ) 22:22, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
- Well, the most independent scholar that I can find and has a review on the book is Robert Elsie's and actually he RECOMMENDS the book (see last page of Elsie's review). The only people that use the word "controversial" are the greek nationalists who made the edits and whose version was brought back. If rewritten the article will not contain that word (but the article was brought back only for 15 minutes). The book of Jacques is heavily studied in Albania because he uses a huge amount of references. In addition, as far as reliability is concerned, Jacques also was noted for being a high figure in his denomination. At this point I will leave it in your hands to rebring the article back and I hope that you will reconsider. sulmues (talk)--Sulmues 22:39, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
Please use English
I noticed that you have posted comments to the page User talk:Lceliku in a language other than English. When on the English-language Misplaced Pages, please always use English, no matter to whom you address your comments. This is so that comments may be comprehensible to the community at large. If the use of another language is unavoidable, please provide a translation of the comments. For more details, see Misplaced Pages:Talk page guidelines. Thank you. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:35, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
- I apologize for having done that and thanks for bringing up the policy (I didn't know it). Well, now that the user is banned for good, it'll be useless that I translate I guess. I was trying to tell User:Lceliku to NEVER offend User:athenean as the latter has already reported sarandioti, kreshnik25, guildenrich, and i pakapshem: all Albanian users that would have otherwise contributed well in the albania related pages. It is somehow strange that all of them go into a fight with User:athenean and they all eventually get banned. Hence User:athenean is left with editing the Albanian articles by himself given his strong interest in Albanian topics ((from you can deduct that his top 8 articles are Himarë (Albania), Epirus_(region) (split between Albania and Greece), Cham_Albanians (expulsed by Greece in 1945), Albania, Cyprus, Origin_of_the_Albanians, Gjirokastër (in Albania) and Sarandë (in Albania as well)). However as Athenean does not know Albanian language, his edits will be limited in referencing. I am surprized why I haven't been banned yet myself so far even though User:athenean is trying very hard (see @Moreschi's talk pageMoreschi1 |Moreschi2sulmues (talk)--Sulmues 19:35, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
CfD nomination of Category:Merited Artists of Albania

Barnstar to aggresive spa account
It's very kind of you to contribute on several pages. However, awarding a user that threatens in this style ], with 90% of his contribution reverted as tottally unencyclopedical, isn't a good sign at all.Alexikoua (talk) 06:25, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hm, I have to apologize on his behalf because he treated you as badly as he treated athenean. My award to him was for his contributions, not for his behavior and occurred on the 4th of january when he was blocked for a week. I thought it would have encouraged him to work more on wikiproject albania. He got banned though the day after (indefinitely) because he was using socks. What can I say, it was probably hurried, but I'll tell you what: I used to know in real life a person called exactly L. Celiku and if it's the same person, I know he is a hell of a good guy. Probably it's not the same person, my mistake.sulmues (talk) --Sulmues 13:46, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Hangon Tags
Hi Sulmues, Please don't add the "hangon" template to articles which has been nominated for Afd. The hangon tags are used only for speedy deletion candidates. Improperly adding them to other articles only creates a larger backlog and more administrative work at CSD review. I would appreciate your consideration on this. Thanks. — CactusWriter | 15:26, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
