Likely it would help to simply point out any problems or potential copyvio issues in order to fix them. The issue was on Chris Colfer, I'm not even sure if I had added that content in the first place but indeed I did re-add it however I had no reason to believe it was copyvio. I am glad you have so much energy to dig up issues that are largely resolved though - we need people to constantly assume bad faith on editors. Transgender Aging Network has launched a project - Living Memory LGBT History Timeline to assist with aging LGBT folks "It is impossible to tell without asking someone precisely which public events shaped their lives, but knowing what was likely reported in newspapers and discussed at dinner parties during a person’s lifetime may help you understand how their worldview was shaped. To offer insight into the concerns, lifestyles, and belief sets of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people who are now 50 and older, the Transgender Aging Network has constructed the following timeline showing how old they would have been when there were critical events or changes in the lives of LGBT people." Starting with the 1920s the events list can be cross-referenced with current GLBT timelines and used as a possible stepping stone to aid Trans projects and awareness. Hey, I noticed you undid several of my edits on Chris Crocker. While we may not agree on the notability of many claims/sources used within the article, one thing that really sticks out to me is that the sources cited after Michael Buckley and William Sledd's respective names mention neither Crocker nor the video the paragraph is about. Surely this cannot be an appropriate use of references. I have removed these again; however, I have left the rest of the information. Feather Jonah (talk) 15:31, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

It was long enough ago I'm not sure why they were used - the one from Edge Boston I agree as it doesn't seem needed, the other one I can't find the actual article so removing it seems unfortunate but also not terribly crucial. The article itself is in flux in part because i became tired of all the vandalism. There is some great stuff about Crocker being a pioneer in a wave of LGBT people "coming out" in rural US but I haven't had the energy to research it all and add it yet. The video section choices were presented to show someone unfamiliar with the subject a reasonably quick overview of his work to date. Potentially newer ones could be added but that also seemed not a huge priority unless he actually starts hitting the news again. -- Banjeboi 19:48, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

It's on my watchlist but I hadn't really looked for a good 1.5 month - that's why I was so shocked. I knew there was at least one diehard critic there who was causing problems but I thought they had moved on. I'll keep an eye out. I don't see tv.com as a ref and don't see anyone pointing out any copyvio concerns but do appreciate you pointing out an issue exists with theose two sentences. Anyways - if you're restoring text that has been previously removed - whether it's by an anon editor or an established account - please check to make sure it's not a copyright violation. Also, check the sources, as tv.com is user-generated content and isn't much of a reliable source. Also, when the issue of copyvio came up before on your talk page, you repeatedly blanked the discussion and refused to discuss the matter. Interesting, I don't think I have seen that page or if I did, didn't take much stock in citing it - not sure how reliable it is or even worth using - but I certainly wouldn't have bothered copyvio when simply quoting would have sufficed. As for this being a recurring issue well that indeed seems like a generous helping of bad faith and my track record rather disputes the assertion this is some problem that you helpfully pointing out warrants. Likely it would help to simply point out any problems or potential copyvio issues in order to fix them. Accusing editors of purposely bring harm in such a manner is rather serious so I'll take this as a cue as to where you spend your time offsite rather than much else. -- Banjeboi 23:46, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
Unfortunately, this is part of a general pattern. For example, back in September you made this and this edit. The first edit is copy and pasted sentences from the reference you give in the second. You wrote "Seaman August Provost was found shot to death and his body burned at his guard post on Camp Pendleton. A sailor accused of murdering him committed suicide in the base brig a week later. Family and friends believe he was murdered because he was openly gay; the Navy said even though the killer had admitted his deed, they haven't concluded that this is a hate crime." In the original, one sentence is "Seaman August Provost on July 23, one week after Provost was found shot to death and his body burned at his guard post on Camp Pendleton." The first sentence is "A sailor accused of murdering a fellow seaman on duty at Camp Pendleton committed suicide in the base brig." The sentence "Family and friends believe he was murdered because he was an admitted homosexual. The Navy said even though the killer had admitted his deed, they haven't concluded that this is a hate crime." only differs from your writing in that "admitted homosexual." has been changed to "openly gay;". I never mentioned Misplaced Pages Review as your edit summary suggests but within 49,000+ edits that I have made some mistakes is less indicative of a pattern than myself being human. The issue was on Chris Colfer, I'm not even sure if I had added that content in the first place but indeed I did re-add it however I had no reason to believe it was copyvio. I am glad you have so much energy to dig up issues that are largely resolved though - we need people to constantly assume bad faith on editors. For someone who is making noise about assuming good faith, I'm a bit surprised by your apparently disingenuous behavior. Referring to "where you spend your time offsite rather than much else" seems like some sort of claim about WR. Frankly, if it isn't then I'm at a loss as to what you meant.
