Party political links on district pages

Thank you for adding your political party to local district pages within the London Borough of Hounslow. Two points: 1} Please add any external links under 'external links' - not references. 2) Wiki tries to avoid widespread duplication, so generally links for local political parties are added to the borough page, i.e. in this case London Borough of Hounslow. Also, for some people they are like a red rag to a bull, and so tend to be reverted. In other boro's where political parties are mentioned, they tend to all be mentioned; this prevents arguments amongst the various groups. I hope that helps, and you will consider the points. Cheers Kbthompson 10:43, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

In the interests of avoiding a parochial counter-response from the other party/ies, let's avoid listing those Labour sites in these entries. Thanks. El_C 10:44, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Adrian Sanders has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Misplaced Pages. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Misplaced Pages. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bfacebook\.com (links: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/profile.php?pub=26639461332).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Misplaced Pages's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 21:03, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

Margaret Moran

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Misplaced Pages, as you did to Margaret Moran, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. You have also given an innaccurate reason for the material's removal as it was accurate and well sourced rather than opinion as you suggest. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Shakehandsman (talk) 02:11, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Misplaced Pages, as you did to Margaret Moran, you will be blocked from editing. --Shakehandsman (talk) 16:36, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Misplaced Pages, as you did to Caroline Flint, you will be blocked from editing. Welcome to Misplaced Pages. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Chris Grayling. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Oda Mari (talk) 09:11, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Christopher Fraser, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Misplaced Pages's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Misplaced Pages article or website of your organization in other articles (see Misplaced Pages:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Misplaced Pages when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you.Template:Do not delete snigbrook (talk) 13:46, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Your edits to June 29

Dear 194.60.38.198,
Some of your edits on the page June 29 have been undone by PseudoBot, a robot built to keep the date pages tidy. The problems are:

The person you added doesn't seem to have a Misplaced Pages page.

If the page exists, check that you've spelled and capitalized the name the same way as the article, and try again. If it doesn't yet exist, read this page carefully before creating it. In particular, you shouldn't create a page about yourself or anyone you know personally. If this bot has got it wrong (as can unfortunately happen), please accept its author's apologies, and (if you would like) leave a message on this talk page with the details, so it can be improved. Please see this page for help. PseudoBot (talk) 13:14, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to violate Misplaced Pages's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, you will be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. OhNoitsJamie 17:04, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.

I was going to warn you to stop removing sourced material from an article Chris Grayling. But, clearly, there is little point in warning you. You pay no attention. Setwisohi (talk) 15:20, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
