Evilness is back baby

How are? The Evil one has returned... Mwwwooaahaaa . Not to his evil ways. But just in spirit. Himalayan Explorer was just too cautious and meditative...The Evil One has more personality and presence! Dr. Blofeld 18:29, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Moooaaaahaaahhaa! Hey I heard Shilpa got married. Didn't even know she was dating that guy. From what I read in the press she has often been single or denied relationships! Dr. Blofeld 21:28, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Dear shshshsh, as much as i respect your rather 'continuous' trials to keep wikipedia safe and good and whatever you may call it, but don't think you should respect other people's contributions too.as far as i know wikipedia is for everyone, and if you read the wiki rules carefully, we don't have to give references for every piece of information we provide and also i am not as 'experienced' like you or this is what i do for a major part of my time.i am slowly learning the ropes so sir/ma'am please be a little more understanding for beginners like me. also if possible please try to research for facts on the info i had given if you have spare time. when i completely know how refrence can be given properly, i will surely give it.

have a good day.  :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tallandhandsome (talkcontribs) 15:01, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

Note regarding your peristent false accusations

Look, I am not going to say this again, Shahid. Don't visit me again, unless you either completely retract your false accusations regarding warnings on your talkpage, no ifs or buts, or else you bring proof to the table. You were very adamant that without proof one can not claim things. The same applies to you. Without proof, your statement is a lie. That simple. And quite frankly, I do find it strange, that you restored my talkpage with your "warning" once, but when somebody issues you a warning, that you can't take seriously and delete it. Anyways, at the end of the day, I am sure you would be offended too, Shahid, if somebody held you responsible for somebody elses actions. EOD. Starrylight (talk) 19:24, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

dear user. ifound that you have removed an image of shabana azmi uploaded by me in the article Water(film) twice. I just want to know the reason? - aby john mathew

Do you still remember me??

LOL ;) -- Bollywood Dreamz 16:48, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Mwwwoooahahahaaa! Hey Shahid check out the expansion! Dr. Blofeld 17:36, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Evilness has returned! Mr. Bigglesworth says Meeeeooowwww. Dr. Blofeld 20:24, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

I'm reverting your POV here. That's blatant vandalism. Dr. Blofeld 12:55, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

Hehee. Hey I'm thinking of buying this with my Christmas money. What is the best Amitabh biography you know of? Dr. Blofeld 13:20, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

Can you recommend a good Amitabh biography? Dr. Blofeld 13:37, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

OMG that's freaky! That must be the weirdest charatcer Amitabh has ever played. Why though does the subject of the film give me the impression they were inspired by Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett ? Jack (film) also deals with that sort of thing.. Dr. Blofeld 13:42, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

Heyy buddy! I'm terribly sorry for the late response. I'm doing fine!! How are you?? I am currently off from University until January. I desperately need a break. Can't believe that it has been nearly three months since I left Misplaced Pages in Septemeber... :S
Anyways, I basically used this weekend to catch up on all the movies that I missed... and boy have I missed a lot. I recently watched Wake up Sid, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Kurbaan, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna, Paa, Dil Bole Hadippa & What's Your Raashee?. So what have you been upto these days?? What movies have you watched recently?? -- Bollywood Dreamz 17:02, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Why do you have little time with WP?? Are you leaving?? I did mention a lot of films but baring WUS, Kurbaan & Paa, I didn't like any of the of the other films. With all the films Bollywood has made this year, 2009 has been quite disappointing so far -- this is partly due to the multiplex-producers' strike that lasted for almost 2-3 months :( Which ones did you like?? -- Bollywood Dreamz 19:06, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
ARE YOU OKAY??? -- Bollywood Dreamz 16:28, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
You took the words right out of my mouth!! :) I absolutely hated MAMK; I don't know WTH Kareena was thinking when she signed the film. As for Rani, I seriously don't know what she is doing to her career. She is such a talented actress and I don't know why she is still working with Yash Raj Films. :(
And now for the awards: I think that the Filmfare Best Actor Award will most definitely go to Mr. Bachchan for Paa. Other than him, Aamir for 3 Idiots is another strong contender. Ms. Chopra & Ms. Kapoor will be vying for the Filmfare Best Actress Award though without any bias, I think that the latter will be receiving it. What do you think?? -- Bollywood Dreamz 23:08, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
Only time will tell which actors win awards next year. Shahid... remember I told you about adding "other" awards to Bollywood actors' filmographies (Star Screen, Zee Cine, IIFA, Stardust). Well, what do you think about this?? -- Bollywood Dreamz 23:12, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
What do you mean by this "But, many of the categories mustt be moved and reordered before to avoid second formatting thereafter."?? -- Bollywood Dreamz 16:18, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
Shahid do you know anyone that can redirect the Three Idiots page back to 3 Idiots?? -- Bollywood Dreamz 17:25, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

Happy Christmas!

Happy Christmas Shahid! Unlike sunny Aus it is snowing here at the moment and very cold!!! Basic Instinct was on again last night and Sharon Stone is definately the sexiest living American actress I've seen on screen. She does more for me than even Jolie or Basinger! Dr. Blofeld 14:14, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

Hehe well it lit up on my watchlist. I actually tried to revert him but you beat me to it! Dr. Blofeld 21:50, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

Explain my edit reverting on Andaz Apna Apna

Obviously you are old editor watching pages and by your contribs it seems you want contents you like. Being old editor other users trust you. I do appreciate your efforts to revert vandalism but I request you not to pretend controller of Hindi movies related articles and discourage new users.

Thank You

Thank You my dear friend!! :) Shahid, I wanted to discuss with you a new change that I am thinking to make on the List of highest-grossing Bollywood films article. Instead of having two separate charts from BOI & IBOS for each section of the article, I was thinking of having one chart with all the information for each section of the article. Look below for what I am talking about. Since BOI is currently making updates for its list of highest grossing films, adjusted for inflation, and IBOS doesn't include the films released pre 1970, we should leave the inflation adjusted list the way it is. By having one chart for the films, it would reduce the length of the article as well as it make it look more tidy. There is only one official source (Box Office Mojo) for American films but we have two sources (BOI & IBOS) for Bollywood films. Since we don't know which source to use, and instead of having two separate charts for each aspect of the article, it would be best to have one unified chart.

List of highest-grossing Bollywood films in India
Rank Movie Year Studio(s) Net Gross
(according to BOI)
Net Gross
(according to IBOS)
Average Net Gross
1 Ghajini 2008 Geetha Arts Rs. 114,80,00,000 Rs. 117,48,22,756 Rs. 116,14,11,378

Everything over here is pretty straight forward. For the final chart, we will look at what BOI & IBOS have and then make an average/final net gross amount for the film. What do you say?? Does it sound like an appropriate idea?? -- Bollywood Dreamz 17:25, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

If we were to remove the "average/final net gross" of the film, then how would we know in which order to list the films?? That is why I intended to have that section so that it would be helpful in helping us determine the order we list the films. BOI & IBOS have completely different films in their Top 30 ... and this proves to be very confusing. What do you suggest we do? -- Bollywood Dreamz 21:43, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
The chart is formatted in a sortable and will thus allow people to list the films in gross amount according to each site (just by the click of a button). Therefore, I suggested that we have an average net gross of the film, which we would use to order the film. BTW Shahid, what would happen if we were to completely remove the collections reported on IBOS and only use BOI as the official source?? I know that there are two sources for box office figures but come to think of it, in all Bollywood articles, BOI is used to report box office figures and not IBOS. Fruthermore, we are only using BOI to report sources for overseas figures then why should we include IBOS in this article?? Another point to note is that when this article was first created, the person only used BOI but somewhere down the line, the figures from IBOS were added. IMO, we should just use BOI for box office figures as it has been mentioned in several leading Indian newspapers (like TOI, Indiatimes) and this is the source that is primarily used in all Bollywood articles on Misplaced Pages. What do you say?? Regards -- Bollywood Dreamz 16:01, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
What do you think about this? -- Bollywood Dreamz 16:48, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
By looking at the nomination for the Star Screen Awards, who do you think will win?? ;) -- Bollywood Dreamz 18:32, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you and Mr. Dreamz! May 2010 be a good one for you and Bollywood on wikipedia! Dr. Blofeld 12:28, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Happy 2010 Shahid!! ;) Wishing you and your family a year full of happiness and prosperity. Regards -- Bollywood Dreamz 19:33, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

LOL its 2010 and both Shilpa's "upcoming" films still say it is expected to be released in 2009. The Man is even titled as 2008 film! Can you sort it out? Dr. Blofeld 12:00, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

YIKES! Woke up this morning and it is like being in the middle of Siberia! It is extremely rare to get HEAVY SNOW where i live on the southern coast. I opened my window this morning and a huge block of snow fell into my room! Its like 3 feet thick already and snowing hard.... Apparently this is the coldest winter in 30 years.... All the cars outside are completely covered in snow mounds!! Dr. Blofeld 09:10, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Sock abuse

Hi again, how's it going? User:Mrpontiac1, the egregious sock who we're familiar with is back. I've just finished tagging dozens of newly confirmed socks. I've already reverted some of the unconstructive edits. He's now up to at least 67 confirmed sock accounts and doubtless many more IPs. Could I ask you to go through his account and revert more of it since he has a conspicuous interest in, among other things, your area of expertise, Indian cinema? Thanks. Nirvana888 (talk) 01:00, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

What do you think of...

having only "one" table that ranks the highest-grossing Bollywood films in India according to BOI. Then, we would have a separate section to indicate how much the film has grossed as mentioned on IBOS.

List of highest-grossing Bollywood films in India
Rank Movie Year Studio(s) Net Gross
(according to BOI)
Net Gross
(according to IBOS)
1 Ghajini 2008 Geetha Arts Rs. 114,80,00,000 Rs. 117,48,22,756
2 Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi 2008 Yash Raj Films Rs. 86,78,00,000 Rs. 73,52,37,848
3 Om Shanti Om 2007 Red Chillies Entertainment Rs. 79,42,00,000 Rs. 69,96,01,108
4 Dhoom 2 2006 Yash Raj Films Rs. 78,86,00,000 Rs. 83,51,87,981
5 Krrish 2006 Filmkraft Productions Pvt. Ltd. Rs. 73,47,00,000 Rs. 81,46,05,346

Re:Warning

Dear Shahid, I am not trying to edit war with you. I provided you with reputable references regarding the fact that Urdu is used in Bollywood films at the discussion on the talk page of the Bollywood article. I also pointed you to previous discussions at which it was decided to keep both the Hindi and Urdu scripts. You have only addressed these references by saying that they are "not even close to being reputable" despite the fact that they are journal published. I also found an additional scholarly source which states the following: "At the level of the colloquial language that is spoken spontaneously or is heard in Bollywood movies, Hindi and Urdu are virtually identical languages." There are even more papers I can list here if you would like. You also never pointed me to any consensus which showed that editors should remove the Urdu scripts. Moreover, it was you who unilaterally decided to remove the Urdu script from the Bollywood article with the edit summary: "There were far too man discussions regarding this recently. Start a new one if you want. As of now, the fact is that Bollywood is the Hindi film industry." Since you are the one who removed the Urdu script, you will have to establish a consensus for the removal of Urdu from Bollywood articles. Until, 17:55, 18 December 2008, the Urdu script was give in the article per the previous discussions which I provided links for on the Bollywood talk page. You are welcome to continue the discussion and invite others to participate. In that way, any decision will be reflective of the desire of the Misplaced Pages community. Until then, please do not continue to edit war on the article. I hope this helps. With regards, Anupam 22:08, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Both you and I know that I did not mean to revert your edit regarding word choice. The reason I reverted was because of your unilateral removal of the Urdu script from the Bollywood article. I think it is best for other Misplaced Pages editors to voice their opinions on the talk page of the Bollywood article so any additional comments you have should be placed there. Once again, you have never pointed me to the "long discussion" which you keep referring to while I have pointed you to several consensuses of the Misplaced Pages Community to keep the script. I am not enforcing any views of my own but am using scholarly articles which I have neatly provided on the talk page of the Bollywood article. I will happily accept whatever the community decides but until then, you should kindly revert your removal. Thanks, Anupam 22:25, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
Additionally, for now, please do not go through all the Bollywood articles and push your position, as you just did with My Name Is Khan. I was requested to correct both scripts on that article. Please wait till a new consensus is established regarding this issue before taking any action. Thanks in advance, Anupam 22:32, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
Dear Shahid, I was requested by a Misplaced Pages Administrator with Oversight privileges to correct the scripts on My Name is Khan, and was additionally thanked for it by User:Classicfilms. Please do not take any action on any more articles until the community resolves the issue. I will do the same, i.e. I will not add any Urdu scripts to Bollywood articles until a new consensus is reached. Kindly leave things as they are right now and we can change them based on the pending decision. Thank you, Anupam 22:42, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
Please also be aware of the fact that I am not violating 3RR on the Bollywood page and am waiting for a consensus on the talk page of the article to be established. Once again, I am happy with whatever the community decides. Until then, we should just put the issue aside and wait until a final decision is reached. Thanks for your understanding, Anupam 22:50, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
Dear Shahid, I am not opposed to removing Urdu scripts if that is what the community decides. I'm not here to push my POV. I am simply trying to ameliorate the article based on references. If you and others feel it is the best thing to do, I am fine with the decision. I respect and appreciate your contributions to Misplaced Pages and am simply trying to help. I hope you understand that I am trying to do the same. I will return later and wish you the best. With regards, Anupam 22:55, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Inquiries

I did reply to your message after I came back from the break, although it might be a bit out of date YellowMonkey (bananabucket) 00:11, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Have a listen!

Hello!! Have a listen to this. Its the album I'm currently jamming along too. This thought is the saddest and most beautiful track on the album. Let me know what you think? Everything OK? Dr. Blofeld 16:31, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

Urdu? What the heck! What does that have to do with Bollywood? Isn't it spoken in Pakistan and by minorites in other parts of India? I find that odd as it is the Hindi industry.... I thought you'd like that album. I'm really into jazz fusion stuff at the moment, guitarists like Neal Schon and Larry Carlton. They are so underated as guitarists and are more talented than most of the people in the charts put together... But coverage of their work and much of jazz is so poorly covered on here so I think i'll be doing a bit of work in this area. Dr. Blofeld 17:25, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

to the person above me...for your information mate...Urdu and Hindi are generally regarded as two standardized registers of one language, although they are written in different scripts and draw vocabulary from separate languages. Urdu is based on Arabic / Persian loanwords; Hindi is based more on Sanskrit words - and just so you know...Urdu has A LOT to do with Bollywood...some of the greatest classics such as Mughal-E-Azam (1960), Pakeezah (1972) and Umrao Jaan (1981) were in Urdu. The word Pakeezah itself is an Urdu word. to add to that my friend....Urdu was developed in India during the Mughal Empire....it's an official language in a number of states and is not spoken by "minorities" - please get your information correct before you make such comments. last point...if they were so different, how is it that i understand spoken Hindi when in fact i'm an Urdu speaker myself? i apologise if i sound rude mate; please don't get offended, no hard feelings. thanks. Mk762007 (talk) 05:00, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

New message

Shahid, as you know, I have another copy of Kapoor's article in my sandbox, and have added several new information. When I decide to add the information to Kapoor's original article, will I have to update the accessdate for all the references according to when I posted it on the Kareena Kapoor article? Or can I just leave them the way they are? -- Bollywood Dreamz 20:06, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks buddy for your generosity! :) I will be shortly updating Kapoor's article with information on her recent 2009 releases. When you have the time, take a look at this and tell me what you think of it. :) Regards -- Bollywood Dreamz 17:37, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Shahid, I remember I asked you a similar question to this when Golmaal Returns released back in 2008. As you know, when unadjusted for inflation, 3 Idiots is officially the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time. In addition to this, the film has grossed more than the inflation adjusted collection of K3G. Does this mean that 3 Idiots is officially Bebo's biggest commercial success?? -- Bollywood Dreamz 18:55, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Shania

Hey Shahid check out American Idol. The screen clip is weird proportions but this woman is looking as gorgeous as ever huh? I love everything about her, personality and looks!! Dr. Blofeld 22:31, 22 January 2010 (UTC) I must admit I don't usually watch X Factor or any of those but I have been watching it is this series. Annoyingly though the Chicago one was the only one I missed on TV so far!!! But whenever Shania is in the room she makes me feel happy!! I love it too when she cackles too in her Canadian accent! Really cute. Dr. Blofeld 22:59, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

See what I mean, even scientists claim Shania has the perfect face here. Does make you wonder though why these scientists have time to spend on researching women's faces when they could be doing things into cancer research and global warming!! Dr. Blofeld 23:14, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

IMDB

Hi Shshshsh. Is IMDB considered a reliable source in general? For example, can we use it as a citation for specifics about someone like Shankar (actor)? (I'm asking this in the context of the unreferenced blp deletion drive.) Thanks. --RegentsPark (sticks and stones) 03:23, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks. There are hundreds of articles on Bollywood cinematographers, producers, and lesser known actors that are facing deletion. I guess a reference to imdb to support a statement "has done xyz thing on abc film" would work. --RegentsPark (sticks and stones) 17:27, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
Nothing has been nominated yet. But, if you see the links in this discussion, all unreferenced BLPs are likely to be speedy deleted. Abecedare has made a list of unreferenced Indian BLPs here and, if you scan through the list, you'll see that lots of them are Bollywood related.--RegentsPark (sticks and stones) 18:53, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

National Film Awards

Hey, long time, hope you are well.

I was looking through the National Film Award Winners and noticed there are some massive flaws in the procedure. For example, Fashion was censored and released in 2008, and Priyanka Chopra got the National Award in 2010. But the article says 2009. What's the best way to go about it?

Yeah sure, I'll start on some articles then. Universal Hero (talk) 14:09, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

Confused

I remember that you told me that ultimately, the inflation adjusted collections mattered the most in determining an actor's biggest commercial success. I know that 3 Idiots has grossed way more than the inflation adjusted collection of K3G (as reported on the List of highest-grossing Bollywood films); as a matter of fact, it has also grossed more than the inflation adjusted collections of Sholay. (Does this mean that it has replaced Sholay as the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time when adjusted for inflation?) BOI is still updating their site and we have no idea how the inflation adjusted list looks like. Don't you think that in the 9 years since K3G released, the film has gone on to earn a lot more than the collections of 3 Idiots?

(P.S. Have you heard about Ms. Chopra's & Ms. Ranaut's recent win at the National Film Awards?? Do you think they deserved it?? ;)) -- Bollywood Dreamz 22:21, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks buddy!! When it comes to box office collections, I easily get confused but your explanation really helped a lot... :D IMO, there are a lot of great actors that should have been awarded the NFA for their wonderful performances; for e.g. Urmila's performance in Bhoot, Rani in Black & Karisma in Fiza/Zubeidaa. Speaking of Ms. Mukerji... it looks like she finally learnt her lesson ;) (P.S. Don't worry, I have no intention in changing the inflation adjusted list as I know that both BOI & IBOS are currently updating their sites.) -- Bollywood Dreamz 02:33, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Devanāgarī and hindi

hi there, Devanāgarī is the script used to write hindi. isn't it more appropriate to use Devanāgarī instead of Hindi. Moreover it was decided a way ago to use Devanāgarī instead of hindi. check out talk on Sanskrit and hindi. --Onef9day (talk) 23:27, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

Leona Lewis

Do you like Leona Lewis? When her hair is Afro like she reminds me of Noémie Lenoir. Lewis has quite a strong jaw though doesn't she, pretty girl but a little mannish? Half the time she looks like a Brazilian drag queen, do you see what I mean LOL? Dr. Blofeld 19:40, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Did you not find that funny? Oh well. Have a look at the developments of the Clint Eastwood article. I've reached 1976 now.. And I cut a lot of the early sections into seperate articles too!! This is going to take months to write as I have another book too which I will usuae to probably balance the sources. Then it can be copyedited and written into one sound article. If you remember what the articles was like just a few months ago... Dr. Blofeld 16:57, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

Only on the short lower sections because I haven't written those yet!! The paragraphs up to 1977 are substantial enough to make seperate sections valid. Remember that the whole article will be written like this and then condensed later after I've gone through with the other book source and balanced out references. Once it is completed trust me there will be no disruption of prose or anything, not in my view anyway...

Nope. I got your reply to me from the discussion with you about hot Bollywood actresses but I only received one email from you. You should also have several... ‡ Himalayan ‡ 21:19, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

What do you think of

...creating new pages for each Filmfare Award ceremony? Every award ceremony in Hollywood has a page of its own and yet NONE of the Bollywood awards have one. Since Filmfare is the oldest and most prominent award ceremony in India, we can start off first by creating articles for the past decade and then slowly move back? I have always dreamt of having separate pages for each ceremony. I know its a lot of work but with a bit of patience and time, I think that we will be slowly able to make it happen. -- Bollywood Dreamz 04:28, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

Do you think it is a better idea to start work on one year and after it is closed to being done then start working on another year? Or would you rather prefer us to work on different years simultaneously? -- Bollywood Dreamz 01:59, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Hey! wait a sec

Do you expect ANYONE to create a complete filmography of a singer in a single day? Why don't you try it out?

Instead of deleting the whole table, you could have added to the filmography. Look at Alka Yagnik - this article has a filmography (not a tabled one, but its there all the same). Im reverting my edit. And please, next time, add - don't subtract.

FA

Yey my FA collobration (and photo I uploaded) are today's featured article! ‡ Himalayan ‡ 01:16, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Yes, I've helped promote them. The McDonalds Bike Center and the Jay Pritzker Pavilion article from Millenium Park too also reached FA. I helped with copyediting/images mostly. Major credit though goes to Ruig and Tony. ‡ Himalayan ‡ 16:40, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Haaa LOL. Check out the last post on Runa Akiyama AFD. Has he proved my point? ‡ Himalayan ‡ 12:35, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Nope, no email. You seem to be having problems emailing me. Such read a message from me in your email and click reply. ‡ Himalayan ‡ 22:51, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Yes, I just received it. It must take a while being send from ten thousand miles away that's all!! I've replied. ‡ Himalayan ‡ 22:54, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

See you're still have trouble. Hey you know I have thousands of CDs. My favourite instrumental rock album. Check out this. Listen to the first five tracks. Now compare the guitar to most bands around these days. 1000 times more talented. Let me know what you think. I'd strongly recommend this album. Its really good to chill out to too. I am addicted to playing along with Neal Schon and Larry Carlton CDs now! ‡ Himalayan ‡ 10:17, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Listen to track 4 all the way through. Turn it up full volume, lie down or sit down comfortably, close your eyes and just float away. Just experience the emotions and senses of it. You will be amazed. It leaves you feeling different to before you started. That is real music that has the power to "tap into your soul". ‡ Himalayan ‡ 10:40, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Re:Three points, two warnings

I do not appreciate such rude messages on my talk page. Throughout this discussion, you have been extremely impolite and have been warned by administrators for your conduct. In every one of my comments, I have wished you well. You are intentionally making things difficult by giving me false warnings. I kindly told you the reason why I merged the sections -- so those new to the discussion may be able everyone's arguments in one area rather than being scattered in multiple areas (which leads to confusion). Also, I honestly have no idea what you are talking about when you say that there is something "very strange." This is another example of your mistreatment towards me. If you have an issue, you should state it openly. You are clearly denying the fact that a past consensus existed even when administrators and bureaucrats have stated the facts; moreover, you have unilaterally changed articles to reflect your POV. --Anupam 16:15, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Dear Shahid, you may remove the bold notes if you remerge the section as I had them. I concur with the fact that we respectfully disagree with one another's positions on the issue. I still feel that both Hindi and Urdu scripts belong in Bollywood related film articles as the lingua franca of Bollywood (source a) and northern India as a whole is Hindustani (source b, source c), as opposed to Standard Hindi, which "has been promulgated by the Government of India and taught in formal courses of study" (source d). Since we both respectfully disagree, I think we should continue the dialogue on the Bollywood talk page and wait for other members of the Misplaced Pages community to comment in the section. I am extremely busy in real life right now so I will add more comments at a later time. Hopefully, with more input from the Misplaced Pages community, the current discord can be resolved so we can return to putting our efforts in bettering other Misplaced Pages articles. Best wishes, Anupam 17:46, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Shahid's official Twitter page says he was born in Delhi

Is that enough direct info? And in an interview it says he spent his first 10 years of his life there...ok?>>>? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.179.137.68 (talk) 15:34, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

How can I upload a legal photo

The picture of Ameesha Patel used on the page is quite old (taken mid-2006) and I want to use a new and better portrait of hers from a public appearance. I would like to use this photo (taken early 2008) on her page:

http://www.itimes.com/public/amisha.patel/album/Amishas-photos/photo/97450

How do you think I can get it with the website's approval. I tried to read their conditions but I didn't find anything that can help me with it, I tried contacting them as well. Also, do check the page if you think it needs expansion and if the language used is proper since my level in English isn't very high but I tried my best.

There really is no point in wasting your time on him. He will never see your view on the subject. As for CANVASSING, I've had the Bollywood article on my watchlist for yonks... And I'm still not seeing anything sorted. Shahid please take it to an adminstrator to settle it. ‡ Himalayan ‡ 21:02, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

Re:Warning and note

Shahid, you are trying to avoid the main issue here by attempting to wrongly frame me. You were completely aware that I supported the inclusion of as many individuals in the discussion as possible. When the discussion began, I even posted the fact that the discussion was occurring on the Indian and Pakistani noticeboards so that everyone had the opportunity to participate in the discussion. Indeed, I did notify some users that a discussion was going on as they were heavily involved with the issue before, just as you privately notified User:Himalayan Explorer about the issue. Moreover, you sent non-neutral messages to other users describing the issue. You are now being warned for violating Misplaced Pages:CANVASS. Moreover, you are framing me for the fact that new users are contributing to the discussion. IP evidence will show you that all the individuals commenting there are not linked and this is a strike against you. Go ahead and report me for the very acts you commit yourself. You have been warned by a Misplaced Pages Bureaucrat to respect a longstanding consensus on Misplaced Pages regarding the inclusion of Hindustani scripts on Bollywood related film articles. You ignoring this administrative warning by blatantly ignoring the previous consensuses (poll, discussion 1, discussion 2, and discussion 3) and unilaterally removing Hindustani Nastaliq scripts from Bollywood related film articles with sneaky edit summaries such as "Cleanup." Your unjustified edits will be reverted soon. --Anupam 19:33, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

This is the final warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Misplaced Pages again, you will be blocked from editing. Anupam 06:02, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
