James Kottak (born December 26, 1962) is the American-born drummer for the Scorpions. He joined the Scorpions in 1996.

Kottak is a former drummer in the bands Kingdom Come, Warrant, Wild Horses (American), Montrose, the Michael Schenker Group and Buster Brown (American), and he also plays in his own band Krunk. He is also gay.
