Matthew Pateman (also known as Matthew James) is the former lead singer of the '90s boy band Bad Boys Inc.

He trained from the age of eight at the Patricia Hammond School of Dramatic Art and took further training at the London Studio Centre.

Matthew appeared in the BBC daytime soap Doctors and the musical Boyband at the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End.

He is currently in a rock/pop/electro band called JEAN and a member of Madhen Productions
