Relativity

Before editing articles to insert your ideas about relativity I strongly urge you to find out what Relativity theory is about. While the notion that time and space are relative to the point of view of an observer is important in Einstein's theories of relativity, that is not by any means the whole of the theory, nor does it capture the essential points oft eh theory. Therefore that fact that someone else had said something along those lines does not mean that that person anticipated Einstein's theories, and to say so in an article is an error. Bihari Muslims

Hi Islamuslim,

First of, sorry for the somewhat to fast warning regarding this edit - i have removed the warning and reinstated the article. However, you state that there is "No citation", while the text contains 4 references which your edit also removes. Mind giving me a quick explanation on that issue? :) Excirial 15:38, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

Warnings

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Theory of relativity, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Misplaced Pages:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

Please note that the website you added cannot be counted as a reliable source. You might consider undoing these edits to the article Al-Kindi as well. Cheers, DVdm (talk) 10:32, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. The recent edit that you made to the page Rashad Hussain has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. Excirial 14:27, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to World government. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Misplaced Pages:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. See WP:V: any material lacking a reliable source may be removed and WP:RS: sources should directly support the information. Old Moonraker (talk) 16:52, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

Your addition to Al-Kindi has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Misplaced Pages without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. O Fenian (talk) 00:33, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Can I just ask why you have put a template on this page requesting that an edit is made to it when the page does not appear to be locked? --5 albert square (talk) 21:19, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to City-state. Doing so violates Misplaced Pages's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Old Moonraker (talk) 21:32, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

Original contributions

In addition to the complaints, above, about your additions of copyright material to Misplaced Pages articles, may I add a request that you should also stop copying material from article to article? In the case of your addition to City State your information is false but it has now been added six times or so. Your additions to Ahmadiyya Community Movement were a direct copy-and-paste from Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Have you considered contributing to the project by adding your original work, rather than relying on the efforts of others, injudiciously copied? --Old Moonraker (talk) 22:12, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing, for a period of 48 hours, for edit-warring, POV-pushing and copyright violations. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
