James Kottak (born December 26, 1962) is an American drummer for the hard rock band Scorpions. He joined them in 1996.

Kottak was a drummer for Kingdom Come, Warrant, Wild Horses (American), Montrose, the Michael Schenker Group and Buster Brown (American), and he also plays in his own band Krunk.
