Helen Bader School of Social Welfare (HBSSW) is an academic unit of the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. The social work program of the school has been consistently ranked among the top 40 by U.S. News & World Report, while the criminal justice program has been ranked as one of the top three in the Midwest by three other reviews.
In March, 2010, Helen Bader School of Social Welfare was awarded the 2010 Academic Excellence Award from the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA)
