Could someone knowledgeable on the matter possibly rewrite "Soroush main contribution to Islamic philosophy is that he maintains that one should distinguish between religious as divinely revealed as the interpretation of religion or religious knowledge which is based on socio-historical factors." As it stands it is not a meaningful sentence but as far as I can surmise its content is rather important.
