Crimes of the Hot is an episode of Futurama.
Plot Summary
Template:Spoiler As New New York suffers from a heatwave, Professor Farsworth is called to a special meeting of all the scientists on Earth to stop the problem. Professor Farsworth reveals that he designed robots that spout out heat exhaustion, thus leaving one possible sullution; destroy all robots. Bender, having developed a kindness towards the turtles after seeing they can't get up when they fall on their backs (just like him), will gladly sacrifice himself. As all the robots are invited to the Galalpicos islands for a "party", Richard Nixon's head and Wernstrom plan to destroy all the robots from a laser in space. Meanwhile, Bender reveals to all the partying robots that they are doomed, causing panic. Farsworth, Fry and ?Leela arrive at have found a solution to all these problems; all the robots must exhauste fumes into the air so they can push earth farther from the sun. All of the robots release their start to release their fumes. Bender and his turtle, however, fall over on their backs and can't get up. Just before Wernstrom's laser hits, the turle finds a way to get up, so Bender follows suite and releases his fumes at the last second, savig the robots. For his work, Farnsworth reseives a pollution medal and all the robots party, rxpelling pollution in the process.
